unabletoremoveanysuchinformation,modifytheinformationtoprevent
itsaccessbyanotherpartyorsothatitisnotpersonaldataunder
applicablelaw.TheServiceProvidershallnotberesponsibleforthelossor
disclosureofanydata,includingconfidentialinformation,proprietary
information,orpersonalinformation,onaproductreturnedoraccessed
forwarrantyservice
removeallfeatures,parts,options,alterations,andattachmentsnotcovered

What Your Service Provider Will Do to Correct Problems

WhenyoucontactaServiceProvider,youmustfollowthespecifiedproblem
determinationandresolutionprocedures.
TheServiceProviderwillattempttodiagnoseandresolveyourproblemby
telephone,emailorremoteassistance.TheServiceProvidermaydirectyouto
downloadandinstalldesignatedsoftwareupdates.
Someproblemsmayberesolvedwithareplacementpartthatyouinstall
yourselfcalledaCustomerReplaceableUnitorCRU.Ifso,theService
ProviderwillshiptheCRUtoyouforyoutoinstall.
Ifyourproblemcannotberesolvedoverthetelephone;throughtheapplication
ofsoftwareupdatesortheinstallationofaCRU,theServiceProviderwill
arrangeforserviceunderthetypeofwarrantyservicedesignatedforthe
productunderPart3WarrantyServiceInformationbelow.
IftheServiceProviderdeterminesthatitisunabletorepairyourproduct,the
ServiceProviderwillreplaceitwithonethatisatleastfunctionallyequivalent.
IftheServiceProviderdeterminesthatitisunabletoeitherrepairorreplace
yourproduct,yoursoleremedyunderthisLimitedWarrantyistoreturnthe
producttoyourplaceofpurchaseortoLenovoforarefundofyourpurchase
price.

Replacement Products and Parts

Whenwarrantyserviceinvolvesthereplacementofaproductorpart,the
replacedproductorpartbecomesLenovospropertyandthereplacement
productorpartbecomesyourproperty.OnlyunalteredLenovoproductsand
partsareeligibleforreplacement.Thereplacementproductorpartprovidedby
Lenovomaynotbenew,butitwillbeingoodworkingorderandatleast
functionallyequivalenttotheoriginalproductorpart.Thereplacement
productorpartshallbewarrantedforthebalanceoftheperiodremainingon
theoriginalproduct.

Lenovomaynotbenew,butitwillbeingoodworkingorderandatleast

servicecenter.Acourierwillpickupyourproductanddeliverittothe
designatedservicecenter.Theservicecenterwillreturntheproducttoyouat
