EXPERIENCE

2008 – 2009 The Ohman Group (Asset Mgt), & RoyalSunAlliance (Sales), Stockholm
 Daytime with Ohman: Managed extensive research project with the asset management
division of The Ohman Group. The research project focused on evaluating fundamental
indexation from a Swedish index fund perspective. The CEO of Ohman asset management
mentions in his Letter of Recommendation that “Olof has really chosen to step up and challenge
earlier research. […] We are highly satisfied with the work Olof has completed and would like
to recommend him to any other organization he would like to join.”
 Evenings with RSA: Best performing insurance broker six months in a row in a group of 30
brokers. The Head of Sales mentions in her Letter of Recommendation that “Olof is focused
and has great ambition to achieve his goals. Olof is the top seller and has shown extremely good
results. His results could be compared to these achieved by a fulltime seller. His budget has
been high, and every month he has pleased me while taking the challenge and delivered a result
higher than budget. I highly recommend Olof as an employee”

2006 – 2007 Deutsche Bank (M&A), London


 Besides the more technical M&A work, I am particular proud of my client coverage and deal
origination which is rare at my junior level. Arranged several client events that helped Deutsche
in securing sell side mandates with key sponsor clients, for example a sell-side advisory
mandate to advise Goldman Sachs Capital Partners on their divestment of the Swedish
company Ahlsell. Also contributed to the more formal pitch book which helped us win this
important mandate
2003 – 2004 (Private Equity), Stockholm — one-year internship
 Analyzed buyout targets and wrote investment recommendations
 Participated in four buyouts and in fund raising events with major investors
2002 – 2003 (Sales/Trading), Stockholm — one-year (part time)
 Built a merger arbitrage model pertaining to the Telia-Sonera merger
 Analyzed Nordic financial news, and then prepared and presented briefs at UBS’s daily
European conference calls for the European equity sales force
