perspective......the upper ramp in the pic is the left side

Reinhard Buchinger i guess it's only an optical illusion because of the angle this
picture was taken plus the cropped part on the right... if you look closely there is
a little plateau in between as it is usual for longer stairs... Therefore the next
ramp wanders more to the right, looking like on the picture.

because of the ramp, it's because he's climbing the ramp instead of the stairs.

the curve) ... the only fail would be him not taking the stairs between those two
rows, but i did it the same way because it is kinda easier to push and you can't
take a wrong step ... so no fail in my opinion -_-

right continuing is actually the beginning of the left for the next series of steps.
From this angle it makes a clever illusion...

end and only the right one go on, I beleive that what you think of as the "right
row" continuing is in fact the "new left row", and that yet another angled row of
brick is outside the angle of the camera (human stupidity DOES have its limits...
doesn't it? (please, reassure me on that....))

realize the stepping is off at one step, which probably indicates a "flat place" with
the stairs continuing like a yard or so further, which makes it basically just a

after the 12th step and only the left portion of the 2nd ramp is showing.
Nicholas Orloff To be specific, it's forced perspective combined with cropping out
the continuation of the right ramp. From the angle it was shot and the position of
his legs, it makes the ramp look much steeper than it is. Turn your head until it
touches your shoulder--the man still appears upright.
