Troubleshooting

encryptioninformationforthehiddennetwork.

farawayfromyourexistingrouter,thenitisdifficultfortheBR6428nSV2/nCto
receiveawirelesssignal.

7. DotheWANandLANportsworkthesamewhenthedeviceisin
differentmodes?
No,theWANandLANportshaveslightlydifferentfunctionsdependingonthe
operatingmodeofthedevice.

a. InWiFiroutermode,theWANportisforadirectconnectiontoyourxDSL
modem.TheLANportsareforwirednetworkclients.
b. Inaccesspointmode,theWANportisnotfunctional.Connectyourexisting
routertothedevicesLANport,andtheotherLANportscanconnectwired
networkclients.
c. Inrangeextendermode,theWANportisnotfunctionalandtheLANportsare
forwirednetworkclients.Donotconnectyourexistingroutertothedevices
WANorLANports,asthiscancausethedevicetomalfunction.
