LEARNING OUTCOMES :
To plan teaching and learning activities to identify
1.
the attributes of a pictograph;
2.
the various types of pictograph.
TIME ALLOCATION : 2 hours
CONTENTS :
1.

A pictograph consists of the following attributes:

the title of the graph;

data in the tabulate form;

categories of the axis;

symbols to represent data;

the scale.

2.

The various types of bar graphs are :

pictograph with one symbol;

pictograph with two or more symbols.

Activity I

Trainees collect data within the compound of a class.
