Use demonstrative pronouns correctly and appropriately.

1. Teacher puts some objects in front of the classes and also at the back of the class.
2. Practise the demonstrative pronouns(This, That, These, Those) by pointing to the
object(s) and say:
This is a book. We use This because it is only one book and it is near to us.
That is a basket.-We use That because it is only a basket but it is far from us.
These are rulers. We use These because it is more than one object but they are near
to us.
Those are balls. We use Those because there are more than one ball but they are far
from us.
3. Teacher then asks a few pupils to place any objects to a certain place and they will say
where are the object(s) .
4. Teacher repeats the 3rd step by changing the objects and asks pupils to point to the
things and say the sentence.
5. Teacher discusses with pupils why they use the demonstrative pronouns in the
sentence.
6. Pupils share their answers.
