Topic: WORK: This chapter focuses on the scientific conception of work in contrast with its
Laymans equivalence, and on its importance and relevance in our daily life. The learner shall
demonstrate an understanding of work done by a constant force, work-energy theorem, kinetic
energy, and gravitational potential energy, conservative vs. non-conservative forces,
conservation of mechanical energy, power and work done by a variable force.
