performance of all our products to simulate field conditions as nearly
as possible. Testing is conducted in accordance with the procedures
and the drawing described in Bellcore TA-TSY-000356, Issue 2,
February, 1991.

Lubricant Accessories
Lubricant Pump
Models LA-33 and LA-55 are
hand-operated, self-priming,
piston-type transfer pumps
that can easily pump both
liquid and gel-type cable
lubricants into conduits or
onto cable in cable pulling
operations. Both pumps are
equipped with a 10-foot discharge hose fitted with a threaded
adapter to allow coupling with ARNCO lubricant application
collars. Pumps can be mounted directly on the top of the
lubricant container.

Description
Hose, Cap and Valve Assembly

Used to spread and apply a consistent amount of cable lubricant

onto the inner-wall of the conduit
during cable installation. Lubricant
spreader can be used to pre-lubricate
the conduit prior to the cable pull,
or can be attached to the pull line in
front of the cable for combined
operation. Polyurethane spreader
discs have superior wear resistance, and are cut with angular grooves to allow better distribution
of cable lubricant. Available in disc diameters from 1-1/6"
up to 5-13/16". Choose Spreader Disc size [LA 515 series] to
fit conduit I.D., and connect to appropriate Connector Body
assembly [LA 510 series].

Lubrication Collars
Lubrication collars are used
to apply a uniform coating
of lubricant onto the cable
or innerduct with no waste
or mess. Each collar is
equipped with a fitting which
connects with LA 33/55
