ASEAN UNDERGRADUATE TUITION FEES SCHOLARSHIP

Victoria University invites students from the ASEAN region to


apply for the ASEAN Undergraduate Tuition Fees Scholarship.
The scholarship covers the tuition fees for the first year of
study for an undergraduate degree commencing in 2016.
Eligibility

How to apply

The purpose of this scholarship is to promote


educational opportunities for young ASEAN
students with an excellent academic record
and leadership potential.

Applications must be received by Victoria


University by 31 October 2015. Applicants must
include certified copies of supporting
documents that have not already been
submitted to Victoria University as part of an
application for admission. A full list of the
required documents can be found on the
application form.

You must be a citizen of an ASEAN country


wanting to enrol in your first year of
undergraduate study at Victoria University of
Wellington, and be under the age of 23 on 31
December 2015.

Victoria is pleased to offer five ASEAN Undergraduate Tuition Fees Scholarships for 2016. The scholarship covers the tuition fees
for the first year of study (two trimesters, up to 120 points) of an undergraduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington.
1. The scholarships will be awarded on merit
to outstanding candidates who meet the
criteria below:
be a citizen of an ASEAN country;
be completing (or have completed) the
academic requirements for admission
into an undergraduate degree at Victoria
University of Wellington in 2016;

have met Victorias English language


requirements for undergraduate study;
not have lodged, personally or as
dependents, a current application
for migration or have been granted
residence status in New Zealand.
2. The scholarship can commence in either
Trimester 1 or 2, 2016.

the first trimester of grades, it considers
that the scholar has not made satisfactory
progress in their first trimester of study.
Failure in two or more courses in the

available, it is essential that an original

signed set of forecast results are provided by


the applicants educational institution.
Documents submitted in support of this
application must be in English. Documents
must be originals or certified copies of the
original. Certification of documents must be
done by a recognised official or by the
institution that issued the document and
must bear the official stamp and signature of
the certifier.
