CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY OF THE PHILIPPINES

Office of the Director General

August 24, 2015

TO:

AERO EQUIPT AVIATION INC.

Subic, Zambales

Dear Sir/Maam:
Greetings from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
In view of the robust growth projection of civil aviation in the Asia Pacific region by 2020 and in
recognition of the need to sustain the momentum of achievement of the Philippine civil aviation sector,
the CAAP will host the Philippine Aviation Summit on September 24-25, 2015 (Thursday/ Friday) at the
Rigodon Ballroom of the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City. This event aims to build a multi-sector
perspective on the programs for sustainability that CAAP has outlined in its strategic roadmap called
Flight Plan 2020. In the spirit of consensus and inclusiveness, CAAP believes that the viability and
success of its initiatives lie on its aggregate ownership by its stakeholders and partners for the welfare of
the air traveling public.
The Summit will have seven (7) panels composed of leading personalities in the civil aviation sector
coming from government, legislature and representatives from its stakeholder groups airline operators,
general aviation, aviation/ flying schools, maintenance organizations and aerospace industries. Each
panel, composed of a moderator and discussants, will articulate specific issues of vital importance to the
implementation of CAAP Flight Plan 2020.
It is in this regard that we would like to invite representatives from the Approved Maintenance
Organizations (AMOs) of CAAP to participate in this event. The ASEAN Economic Integration (AEI),
which commences in 2015, will have a profound impact on regional governance and business creating
opportunities yet posing challenges. As a vital sector of Philippines civil aviation, your participation in
this event will be a venue for a vigorous exchange of views on the twin pillars of CAAPs regulatory
framework of Aviation Safety and Good Corporate Governance specially with the onset of the ASEAN
Single Aviation Market (ASAM).
