4 DPrecautions
1) FAM Driver supplied with PDZK-P1 Ver2.12.0 (XDCAM Transfer) is Ver.2.3.0.
In case that FAM Driver Ver.2.3.3 is installed first then PDZK-P1 Ver2.12.

0 and FAM Driver Ver.2.3.0 are installed;

reinstall [FAM Driver Ver.2.3.3].
Note that PDZK-P1 Ver2.13.0 (XDCAM Transfer) is designed not to install FA
M Driver:
There is no need for the reinstallation.
2) Do not disconnect cables while accessing files. If you disconnect cables, f
iles may get serious damages.
3) If you need to disconnect cables, make sure to demount the disc from OS fir
st, and then disconnect cables.
4) When PC(Mac) goes into the sleep mode under the PC REMOTE state, a connecti
on with IEEE1394 sometimes cannot be re-established.
In that case, disconnect and connect again the cable.
5) Just turning off the power of the main unit does not complete the power-off
, when XDCAM is in the "PC REMOTE" mode.
Demount the disc from OS first, and then turn off the power of the main uni
t.
6) Some desktop Mac models do not successfully cancel the PC REMOTE mode while
being connected to XDCAM devices, after they switch to sleep or shutdown.
In this case, turn off and on again your XDCAM device.
7) Do not name files, in in the General folder of the XDCAM disc, using the fo
llowing characters that are not allowed by operating systems:
? [ ] / \ = + < > ; : g , | *
8) Sometimes you may experience problems when trying to overwrite a large file
stored in the XDCAM General folder directly from an application.
We recommend that you save the file to your local hard disk drive first and
then copy it to the General folder from the Finder.
9) When a virus checker is activated, exclude XDCAM Disc from the scanning and
real-time surveillance targets.
