burnerandforceddraughtfan,whichtripswhentheloadingdoorisinopenconditionaspartofthe
safety.

Duringincinerationitisimportanttocontroltheexhausttemperature,whichshouldnotbeveryhighor
toolow.Hightemperaturecouldleadtomeltingofmetalandcancausedamagetothemachinery,
whereastoolowtemperaturewillnotbeabletoburntheresidueandsterilizeandremoveodorfromthe
residue.
Thistemperaturecontrolcanbeachievedbyintroducingcolddilutedairintheexhauststreamatthe
pointwhichisasclosetoincineratordischarge.
