MANDATORY REGULATIONS AND LAWS

The following amplifies the Company's Policy with respect to mandatory regulations and laws: 1.10.1 All ships will be operated according to the following Rules, Regulations and
amendments as applicable-.
1.10.1.1 International Convention on Loadlines
1.10.1.2 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
1.10.1.3 International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL)
1.10.1.4 Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea
(COLREG)
1.10.1.5 International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships
1.10.1.6 International Convention of the Standards of Training, Certification and
Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW)
1.10.1.7 ILO Convention 147 (Merchant Shipping Minimum Standards Convention)
1.10.1.8 International convention on the control of harmful anti-fouling systems on ships.
1.10.1.9 IMO Resolution A.48 1 (Xll), adopted on 19.11.1981 pertaining to Principles of Safe
Manning
1.10.1.10 Code of Federal Regulations, Title 33 Parts 1 - 199 pertaining to Navigation and
Navigable waters of the United States of America
1.10.1.11 The Rules and Regulations of the applicable Classification Society with whom the
vessel is attached, namely American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Bureau Veritas
(BV), China Classification Society (CCS), Hrvatski Registar Brodova (CRS), Det
Norske Veritas (DNV), Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Indian Register of Shipping (IRS),
Korea Register Of Shipping (KR), Lloyd's Register of Shipping(LR), Nippon Kaiji
Kyokai (NK), Polski Rejestr Statkons (PRS), Registro Italiano Navale (RINA),
Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS).
1.10.1.12 The guidance notes published by each individual Classification Society or the
International Association of Classification Societies
1.10.1.13 IMO Resolution A.741(18) adopted on 4"November, 1993 pertaining to the
International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution
Prevention a.k.a. (International Safety Management (ISM) Code)
1.10.1.14 International Ship & Port Facility Security Code.
1.10.2 The applicable Rules and Regulations of the Flag State of the vessel as described in the
following publications:
1.10.2.1 Panama Registry, Maritime Laws Regulations, Notices and Requirements.
1.10.2.2 Republic of Liberia, Maritime Law, Regulations, Notices and Requirements.
1.10.2.3 Hong Kong Flag Maritime law, regulations, Notices and Requirements
1.10.2.4 Republic of Marshall islands, National Maritime Legislations
1.10.2.5 Caymen Island Maritime law, regulations, Notices and Requirements
1.10.2.6 Republic of Malta Maritime law, regulations, Notices and Requirements
1.10.2.7 Republic of Cyprus Maritime law, regulations, Notices and Requirements
1.10.2.8 Republic of Philippines Maritime law, regulations, Notices and Requirements
1.10.2.9 Bahamas Maritime Authority, Bahamas National Requirement and BMA information
bulletins.
