Q1: PHOTOSHOP:

Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe

Systems for Windows and OS X.
Photoshop was created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll. Since then, it has become
the de facto industry standard in raster graphics editing, such that the word "photoshop" has
become a verb as in "to photoshop an image," "photoshopping," and "photoshop contest,"
etc. It can edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masks, alpha
compositing and several color models including RGB, CMYK, Lab color space (with capital
L), spot color and duotone. Photoshop has vast support for graphic file formats but also
uses its own PSD and PSB file formats which support all the aforementioned features. In
addition to raster graphics, it has limited abilities to edit or render text, vector
graphics (especially through clipping path), 3D graphics and video. Photoshop's featureset
can be expanded by Photoshop plug-ins, programs developed and distributed
independently of Photoshop that can run inside it and offer new or enhanced features.

Uses of PHOTOSHOP
Adobe Photoshop can be used for wide variety of tasks, color correct photos, create PDF,
create CV, improve scaned photos, print images, design logos, page layouts for your blog or
site, make gif animation, work with video clips in Extended version, work with 3D objects
and much, much more. With Photoshop installation comes Adobe Bridge which is powerfull
menager media and you can create web galery and PDF, contact sheets and so on. There
is also Camera RAW plugin which is suitable for photographers

PROBELEMS of PHOTOSHOP

Q6 a) Text Tool

It is used to set the text inside the corel

draw environment.
Step 1
This is the easiest function of the Text Tool (F8): typing on a horizontal line or
within a rectangular box. Open a New Document and let's take it for a spin.
Grab the Text Tool from the Toolbox, drag out a rectangle, and type out the
word "Bakery".

Step 2
Select your text and either in the Property Bar or the Text
Properties docker, set the paragraph alignment to Center. Repeat the
previous step with a small sans-serif font to give your imaginary bakery a date
of establishment. I chose the font Bebas for this step.

Step 3
While we're playing with tools in CorelDRAW, take the Basic Shapes Tool for
a spin. You'll find it under the Polygon Tool in the Toolbox. I chose to draw a
small heart in the center of my date of establishment. At this point you're free
to select text objects and perfect shapes in the Object Manager and Convert
to Curves (Control-Q).

b) Interactive Fill tool

Interactive Fill tool can be used as a quick option to fill the object.

1. Open Corel DRAW.

2. Select Rectangle Tool and draw rectangle. Keep it selected.

3. Select Interactive Fill Tool. It's at the bottom most position in the tool
box.

Now that you have the Interactive Blend Tool selected, you must select the big ellipse and
release the mouse to the small ellipse, look:

Q8: INPAGE KEYBOARD

The Urdu keyboard is any keyboard layout for Urducomputer and typewriter keyboards.
Since the first Urdutypewriter was made available in 1911, the layout has gone through
various phases of evolution.[1] With time, the variety of layouts introduced in the 1950s
formechanised compositions have reduced to very few that are compatible with the
new digital age. Modern improvements in Urdu keyboard were pioneered by theNational
Language Authority (Muqtadra-e-Qaumi Zaban) in Pakistan, which standardised the
linguistic aspects such as orthography and lexicography. These developments helped the
keyboard layout to evolve from the typewriters to be compatible with computers, to increase
the productivity and textual efficiency of the language, especially through modern electronic
media.

How to change keyboard preferences

in Inpage

We can customize your keyboard for a specific language or format by changing the
keyboard layout. The layout controls which characters appear on the screen when
you press the keys on your keyboard. Some input languages have several keyboard
layouts; others have only one. For example, you can change your keyboard layout
from the English QWERTY format to the English Dvorak format. After you change the
layout, the characters on your screen might not correspond to the characters on
your keyboard keys.
1.

On the Language bar, click the Input language button, and then select an
input language.

Language bar
2.

Click the Keyboard layout button, and then select a keyboard layout.

Note

If you don't see the Language bar, right-click the taskbar, point to Toolbars,
and then click Language bar.

Q3; (a)

Transformation of objects in Adobe

Photoshop photo editor:

After an object is inserted in a new layer, we can use Layer transformation
commands to transform the object. To transform the layer or the selected fragment
we can use one of the commands from the menu Edit - Transform. For example,
the following commands: Scale, Rotate, Skew, Distort, Perspective, Rotate
180, Rotate 90 CW, Rotate 90 CCW, Flip Horizontal, Flip Vertical.
You can also use the command Free Transform from the Edit menu, which will
help you to perform all transformations at one time. If you select the command Edit
Free Transform, the layer or the selected fragment will be enclosed in a frame
with eight markers, and in the Options palette a number of parameters for
adjustment will appear.
(i) Scale to adjust the scale of the image within the area you should move one of
the eight markers. To change the scale proportionally you should drag the marker in
the corner keeping theShift key pressed.
Flip to flip an image you should move one of the markers behind the opposite
marker. For example, if you drag the left marker all the way to the right side of the
right marker, the image will flip horizontally.
Rotate to rotate an image you should bring the cursor to the marker in the
corner so that the cursor transforms in a two-side rounded arrow, press the left
mouse and keeping it pressed, drag the cursor. You can set the rotation angle in the
Options palette using the Rotate parameter.
Skew to skew an image you should drag the marker on the side, the upper and
the lower marker keeping the Ctrl key pressed.

(b) Export command in Corel Draw:

Export command in corel draw is used to save the corel image
in different formats. Some common image formats that can be
exported by corel draw are following
1. BMP
A standard Windows image format. You can specify either
Windows or OS/2 format and a bit depth for the image. For 4-bit
and 8-bit images using Windows format, you can also specify RLE
compression.
2. CompuServe GIF (Graphics Interchange Format)

Commonly used to display graphics and small animations in web

pages. GIF is a compressed format designed to minimize file size
and transfer time. GIF supports only 8-bit color images (256 or
fewer colors). You can also save an image as a GIF file using the
Save For Web command.

3. JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group)

Used to save photographs, JPEG format retains all color
information in an image but compresses file size by selectively
discarding data. You can choose the level of compression. Higher
compression results in lower image quality and a smaller file size;
lower compression results in better image quality and a larger file
size. JPEG is a standard format for displaying images over the
web.
4. PNG (Portable Network Graphics)
Used for lossless compression and for displaying images on the
web. Unlike GIF, PNG supports 24-bit images and produces
background transparency without jagged edges; however, some
web browsers do not support PNG images. PNG preserves
transparency in grayscale and RGB images.
5. Photoshop PDF (Portable Document Format)
A cross-platform and cross-application file format. PDF files
accurately display and preserve fonts, page layouts, and both
vector and bitmap graphics.
