Hi John, it had been a long time that I receive a letter from you. How are you
and your family at England? I hope you and your family is in the pink of health. I
was glad to hear that you were coming to Malaysia which is in conjunction with the
Visit Malaysia Year. It was your first time come to Malaysia so I am here to
suggest you come a tour with me to Melaka.
I would like to be your personal guide in this tour. Besides, I will ensure the
journey will be full of excitement and new things that you wont even regret coming
to Melaka. The first thing to do when you visit Melaka is get to know the history of
Melaka. Melaka full of historical sites such as the famous A Famosa, St. Francis
Xavier's Church, Independence Obelisk, St. Paul's Church and other historical
places.
This place is old but full of historical and became our national treasure and art.
Those are great places to start a tour. We can take our time to visit the historical
places. It is a fun way to learn historical through a tour.
The next thing we do is going a tour for food. Malaysia has many races so you
can get to taste variety of food of different ethnic communities. You can try Malay,
Chinese and Indian food. Malay have Nasi Lemak , Nasi Beriani and Sambal the
malay spices. Chinese have kuih, nasi goreng and other Chinese food. Indian have
roti canai, goreng food and curry. There are too many foods that I cant even count
and start from where.
Besides that, we can have homestay at Melaka. We also will do sightseeing in
two to three days.
We not only visit historical sites, we can have fun around Melaka. We go around
Melaka to see fun stuff or go to the amusement park. In addition, we can go
shopping around Melaka. Melakas shopping center is brilliantly designed and
architectural splendors. It also give us good bargains. The thing in Malaysia is cheap
for a foreign like you. Thus, thing made in Malaysia have their own quality so dont
worry about you going to be cheated.
For you first time in Malaysia, I did get you a chance to watch cultural
performances in live. There are races dance at the Main Hall of the Bukit Melaka
shopping center during the Visit Malaysia Year event. Not only Malay, Indian and
Chinese, other races like Sumazau , Kadazan and Singh will be there also. It was a
golden chance that you must take! There wont be another time that you will see
many races dance together and it is rare to see they perform in public.
You dont have to worry about anything. Things are under my control.
Everything will be perfect. The expense of the tour to Melaka is not too high.
Besides, some local people give us discount for the event trips.
