(MSIM - Full time) - Admission Requirements and Deadlines

Requirements and
Prerequisites

The only requirement to apply to the MSIM


graduate program is a bachelor's degree from
an accredited college or university. We do not
require that applicants have a bachelor's
degree in a specific area or that they take
specific prerequisite courses. Non-native
English speakers are required to show
proficiency with the English language and
should refer to UW Graduate School Memo 8
for additional information. If using the
TOEFLiBT to fulfill this requirement, a
minimum score of 95 is required.
All application materials are submitted online
or electronically, please do not send paper
application materials to the Information
School.

Additional Instructions

Applicants are required to submit either


official GRE or official GMAT scores.
The ETS report code for both GRE and TOEFL
scores is 4854, no department code is
needed.
The GMAT report code is 459-RN-51.

Program Deadlines

Deadline Info

All applicants, domestic and international, will


use the same application deadlines. The
priority application deadline for automatic
scholarship consideration is January 15, 2015.
However, we will continue to accept
applications and materials until February 1,
2015. Review and/or consideration of
incomplete applications or late materials is at
the discretion of the MSIM admissions
committee.

Important Information for International Applicants


Intl Funding Note

If admitted to the program, some


international applicants will be required to
provide financial ability documentation to the
UW Graduate School.

Additional Intl Info

International applicants have the same


deadline and application requirements as all
other applicants. However, all non-native
English speakers must fulfill the UW English
language proficiency requirements. The most
common way of fulfilling this requirement is
by taking the TOEFL and submitting official
TOEFL scores to the University of Washington.
