27-year-old left-hander is making his 15th start of the season tonight, his 44th career MLB start and his 6th start vs. the Astros.
Has spent entire career in the Mariners organization after signing as a minor league free agent on May 3, 2011.
Defected from Cuba to Mexico in late 2010 after playing with
Guantanamo in Serie Nacional.
Owns a career MiL record of 27-21, 4.15 ERA (181 ER, 393.0 IP)
in 72 games/69 starts over 5 seasons.
