The PhD Degree shall be open to:

a) Candidates, who have obtained a Masters Degree of this University or any
other University established by law in force or any other degree
recognized as equivalent thereto in that subject or allied subject with 55%
marks or equivalent letter-grade in qualifying examination (50% marks or
