The Murder of Sophie
The date of the death was May 26, 2015. The body was found at 3 Oclock and rigor
mortis had already began to set in. The temperature of the body was 35 degrees celsius
meaning the victim had been killed about an hour before. There was blunt force trauma on the
back of her head as result of a fall, and a bullet wound in the right temple. The victim was found
on her back, on the floor of room IC11 at Inspire.
There was a pool of blood on the corner of the table to the right of the victim. The blood
was dripping onto the floor. There was a single right hand print on the table, and a partial hand
print of a left hand on the gun which was also on the table. Both prints belonged to the victim.
There were also two sets of hands print on the ground to the left of the victim; those prints also
belonged to her. On a cupboard to the left of the victim, there was high velocity blood splatter as
a result of the victim being shot. There were bloody footprints leading out of the classroom
which belonged to the murderer. Unfortunately, the footprints did not match the shoes of any
suspects.
Most fingerprints belonged to the victim, Sophie. In the video footage of the victim before
the crime took place, there was a cashbox on the table. On that cashbox were the fingerprints of
Doris Luther and Antonio Isern. Iserns fingerprints were matched by the thumb, ring, and pinky
finger. The thumbs whirls were matched, and the pinkys were the same loops as Iserns. There
were also two distinct vertical lines going down one of the fingerprints, which matches that of
Iserns. Doris was seen with the cash box in her hands, but Iserns prints had no reason to be
there. There were also the fingerprints of Mr. Peek on a cellphone found at the crime scene.
There was hair taken off of the victims shirt at the crime scene. There were black hairs,
and white hairs both belonging to a cat. Isern and Peek both later confirmed that they had a cat,
(shared a cat?). There was also a dark hair which was compared to the hair of Isern and Peek,
but was not confirmed to be one or the other.
Based on the evidence provided, and the questioning of the suspects, Antonio Isern is
responsible for the murder of Sophie. The cashbox that had Iserns handprints on it, was last
seen on the table, but at the crime scene it was on the floor, which means it had to have been
moved after Sophie was murdered. During his questioning, Isern was not able to give a reliable
alibi, and even asked for a lawyer halfway through. When asked about the cash box, he stated
that he had not touched it, yet his fingerprints were on it. He also stated that he was in and out

of his room during the time of the murder and said that he had been in the ASB room (IC11), but
when asked about the ASB room again, he would not answer that he had or had not been in
there He also was extremely angry with Sophie and had a reason to want to kill the victim.
