Jesus is the WAY to Salvation

There is no other way to salvation. Jesus says, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one
comes to the Father, but by Me (John 14:6)
He is not a way where there many other ways. HE IS THE WAY.
The thing about salvation... why do we need to be saved?
1.) Ignorance from the one true God
Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also
will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also
will forget your children.
*The role of a priest is the one appointed for men in things pertaining to God (Heb 5:1); because of sin, we are
rejected to be priests of God.

2.) Our alienation from God

Sin separated us from God...
Romans 5:12-14
When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to
everyone, for everyone sinned. Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. But it was not
counted as sin because there was not yet any law to break. Still, everyone diedfrom the time of
Adam to the time of Moseseven those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God,
as Adam did. Now Adam is a symbol, a representation of Christ, who was yet to come.
*Adam is the first human being that God created (Genesis 5:1-2)
*The fall of man (Genesis 3)

3.) From just condemnation

What's the consequence of sin? When we commit a crime into this world, we will be thrown in
jail; the same goes to sin. When we sin, our sin has to be paid, to have a just condemnationwhich is death...
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our
Lord.
4.) From our personal sinfulness
1 John 3:4-5
Everyone who sins is breaking God's law, for all sin is contrary to the law of God. And you know
that Jesus came to take away our sins, and there is no sin in Him.
What are we like as sinners and as those who are saved?
Isaiah 64:5-6
"You (God) meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers You (God) in Your
ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned In these ways we continue; And we need to be
saved. But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We
all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away."
Only Jesus can save us from our sins and from all unrighteousness...
Acts 4:12
No one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by the power of the one named Jesus and
not by any other person.
Jesus is our Mediator for us to get back to God...
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.
Jesus came into this world for us to be reconciled with God....

//2 Corinthians 5: 19-21

For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people's sins against
them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ's ambassadors;
God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, "Come back to God!"
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made
right with God through Christ.//
Jesus died for us to compensate the payment for our sins. He took our place in death. He made
Himself as the sacrificial lamb which took our sins. Jesus then became our High priest...
Hebrews 9:11-15
So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come. He has
entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands
and is not part of this created world. With His own bloodnot the blood of goats and calves
He entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. Under the
old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow could cleanse people's
bodies from ceremonial impurity. Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our
consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the
eternal Spirit, Christ offered Himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins. That is why He is
the one who mediates a new covenant between God and people, so that all who are called can
receive the eternal inheritance God has promised them. For Christ died to set them free from the
penalty of the sins they had committed under that first covenant.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him
should not perish but have everlasting life.

from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with
God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved.//

This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.//
