This girl is one of a kind, by the way she moves and the
way she thinks and definitely because of her unmatched
extroversion and amazing intellect under pressure! Her
daily routine usually starts with a cup of coffee at the
tambayan at around 8 AM. Then she takes out whatever
it is she needs to finish. But when people start coming in,
unfortunately, everything stops! It’s time to be a buddy to
the friends, a gambler to the players, and a sister to the
M&Mers. Nevermind the homeworks, the 10 minute break
will take care of that! For her, it’s a matter if quick decision
making, knowing how to balance out priorities without
neglecting anything. She also has a knack for being in touch
with her creativity, making accessories and stuff. I always
joke around that she’s on the completely wrong side of
the world because she’s supposed to be an arts major! No
doubt, versatility comes into the picture. She redefines the
stereotype of a Chem major, a great achievement in the
scientific world!

Wena is an epitome of well-roundedness. She is good

in academics and she balances this with a colorful and
exciting social life that never seems to dim. Most people
say that she is one of the most “real” and “true” persons
they’ve met—she’s never afraid to express who she really is
without any pretensions.

Confident. Strong-willed. God-fearing. Passionate.

Determined. Driven. OC. GC. Intelligent. Friendly. Corny.
These are just some of the words that others use to
describe Wena. But others cannot exactly define who she
is, no matter how hard they try, because Wena is more
than all of these. Though adjectives are never enough, she
continually defines herself as the one who stands up and
remains steadfast in her integrity amidst all the pressures
of life which oftentimes try to defeat her, forcibly defining
her apart from who she really is.

But she has endured, always with a smile on her face—as

one amazing lady of love and character.

How does one describe Rex in fourteen lines? Should one

start with his long, shiny, and straight black hair that makes
him stand out in a crowd? With his infectious smile and
endearing personality? With how he savors every moment
he spends with the people he loves? Or perhaps one should
start with his wide range of interests: from anime to sports.
Then there is how people like being his friend because, like
the sun, he radiates warmth and happiness to their hearts.

It’s ironic that it’s so hard to capture with a few lines

someone who is a man of few words. Rex is known to be
a quiet person. Yet, a few minutes of serious conversation
with him, with some corny jokes on the side, will reveal
how reflective and insightful he is. “Silent waters run deep”,
so the saying goes, and Rex does justice to that. A man of
fourteen thousand different traits, sketched with merely
fourteen lines, merely words that do not in any way do
justice to the man.

Cheson is your real-life messianic superman. Instead of
saving the world, he uses his powers to help and serve
his friends, his org Celadon, and anybody in need. Cheson
is selfless—constantly at a vigilant look-out and always
willing to help in everyway he could. Driven never to settle
for mediocrity, he has shown that he can handle any kind
of challenge throughout the years, whether in academics
or extracurricular, from being a double-major student to
being Celadon’s super active president. Everybody knows
he speaks, breathes, and lives passion. Regardless, he is a
leader in his own right, knowing what he wants and how
he could achieve it. As the innovator of many creative
ideas, he has arrived at so many achievements for and
from Celadon. Very persistent, patient and understanding,
Cheson is the man to approach; a potential Jesuit who
appreciates the spirit of Magis and Cura Personalis— a man
for others.

Unlike my friend, I have never been able to fully grasp the concepts
of Chemistry, but one thing I do know can be best described in
the words of Carl Jung: “The meeting of two personalities is like
the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction,
both are transformed.” And like a universal reactant, Anthony has
transformed and affected the lives of the many people he came
to contact with.
