This coming March 15 is the fourth anniversary of the horrible

killings of innocent civilians committed by US soldiers in the

town of Ishaqi about ninety km north of the capital Baghdad.
On March 15 2006 a group of US soldiers ferried by helicopters
raided a house allegedly containing a wanted man and proceeded
to shoot all the occupants inside the house before blowing it
up. Eleven bodies were later recovered by the local police and
they were two men, four women and five children.
The US military denied the killings and said that their soldiers
had received information that an al-Qaeda suspect was visiting
the house and therefore they went there to eliminate him.
The US military further said that many shots were fired at the
US soldiers before returning fire destroyed the entire building.
The suspect or at least a man was captured, while another man
was found dead together with two women and a child. Satisfied
with the outcome, the US soldiers then returned to base.
However, evidence on the scene totally contradicted the account
given by the US military. Witnesses said that the US soldiers
entered the house and shot all those inside and then blew up
the house before leaving. The Iraqi police essentially reported
the same thing. Eleven bodies were recovered and taken to the
local mortuary and photos were taken by several journalists of
the bodies where they laid. At least one child was seen with a
gaping head wound.
Three months later the US military 'investigated' the incident
and concluded that the US soldiers had 'followed proper rules
and did nothing wrong'. No weapon was ever found. And nothing
was mentioned about the fate of the captured man. Has he also
disappeared forever like the other victims ?
The US military has had a very long history of killing humans
long before Baghdad or even Ishaqi. During WW2 there were quite
a number of stories where US soldiers had either deliberately
or carelessly killed innocent people. In July 1943, US soldiers
shot dead scores of people in Biscari, a remote place in the
south of Italy shortly after the place was captured by them.
The famed US commander, Patton was in charge of US forces in
Italy at the time and suggested that the murdered people were
to be regarded as enemy combatants and they were all shot while
'trying to escape'.
The whole world must never forget that the whole US military
is really nothing more than a bunch of licenced murderers and
they absolutely have no intention at all to change their ways.
Ishaqi was just one incident among a very long list of incidents
involving US soldiers with the inclination to shoot any living
thing in front of them. It does not matter whether it is a man,
woman, child or even a farm animal or a even a wild beast. In
Vietnam, US soldiers also were know to have shot tigers and
other wild animals when not killing humans.
Even in places where there was definitely no combat, US soldiers
were also known to have killed innocent civilians. Women and
even taxi drivers lost their lives to rogue US soldiers who
prowled the streets and alleys in many parts of Asia where they
were stationed.
And always and always the US soldiers were conveniently excused
and they were in the end found to have done nothing wrong.
The US military is surely acting like the time when Genghis was
master of the land. His soldiers were allowed to 'cut the hay'
as the field had been taken for them. They were not doing anything
wrong as far as their boss was concerned.
The US military is not alone in their excesses. Today, the US
leaders and politicians are virtually walking the same path and
also marching to the same beat. Clinton, Obama, Gates or others,
it does not matter who the person is. They are all, each and every
one of them licenced murderers who want only to kill more and
more. The more they kill, the more powerful they become.
Even now, the evil US politicians are setting their sights on
innocent people in Iran, Pakistan, Yemen and possibly Cuba and
North orea. In the future it could be innocent humans in China,
the Philippines or elswhere. Who knows. But we all must always
be on our guard.
Ishaqi was clearly a warning to us all. To forget it is to
invite real danger. Remember, the US military is a licenced
murder agency and all its men and women are licenced killers.
The US politicians are also fully licenced murderers. In fact,
they are licenced serial murderers. Always remember it !!!!
