NEED HI-RES

ACHIEVING AND MAINTAINING EXCELLENCE IN STERILIZATION.

Our full range of supplies and consumables enables your
STERRAD® Systems to run at maximum productivity. Advanced
Sterilization Products, division of Ethicon, Inc., offers Sterilant in
safe, easy-to-use cassettes; fast-acting Biological and Chemical
Indicators; and a full line of accessories, including pouches, rolls,
trays, mats, and holders.
Sterilant
Our Proprietary Technology for Effective Sterilization
Our proprietary technology utilizes low temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma for terminal
sterilization of medical devices, with no toxic residue. Hydrogen peroxide gas plasma has been proven
to be gentler on devices than peracetic acid and steam.

Best of all, our Sterilant comes in cassettes that can be easily inserted into the system. This gives system
users and operators added convenience – and yet another advantage over other sterilization methods.
Unlike some other sterilization modalities, STERRAD® Systems cassettes can be transported via ground
or air shipment.

Biological and Chemical Indicators

Your Assurance of Proper Sterilization
The STERRAD® CYCLESURE® 24 Biological Indicator (BI)* provides evidence that proper sterilization
conditions are achieved in just 24 hours. The chemical indicator on the BI vial cap changes from red to
golden yellow, confirming exposure to hydrogen peroxide. The unique design of the CYCLESURE® 24 BI
eliminates the manual testing process. ASP also offers the STERRAD® SEALSURE® Chemical Indicator
Tape, which uses an exclusive indicator ink technology for superior performance and color stability,
and STERRAD® Chemical Indicator Strips. The distinct red-to-golden yellow color change following
processing enables the user to know with confidence that the instrument load has been properly
exposed to hydrogen peroxide.

Tyvek® Pouches and Rolls

Optimal Flexibility of Chemical Indicators in a Pouch
We offer durable Tyvek® Pouches and Rolls that provide the convenience of a built-in STERRAD® Chemical
Indicator to simplify confirmation that instruments have been exposed to hydrogen peroxide. Pouches
have a triple-sealed design for three independent barriers to contamination, with a convenient thumb
notch for easy opening, and are offered in a broad range of sizes, making it easy to double-pouch special
instrumentation. They’re available in a wide variety of styles, including self-seal and heat-seal styles, to
meet most every instrument need.

Tyvek® is a registered trademark of E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Company for its brand of
protective material.

Instrument Trays, Mats, and Holders

Maximum Protection for Your Valuable Medical Devices
APTIMAX® Instrument Trays offer optimal protection for your instruments and are available in a variety
of sizes to fit your instrument inventory. APTIMAX® Instrument Trays feature a breakthrough, proprietary
material that is compatible not only with STERRAD® Systems, but also with prevacuum steam, ethylene
oxide [EtO], and washers/decontaminators. Silicone instrument mats and holders provide added protection
and flexibility. Lightweight material and snug-fitting lids ensure ease of handling with optimal storage for
improved space efficiency.

Accessories
Accessories to Enhance Your Convenience
A wide variety of exclusive accessories make the experience of using STERRAD® Sterilization Systems
practical and efficient. Included are accessory kits, starter kits, and user’s guides. New users can
get all the essentials in a starter kit, while existing users can get the refill items they need in one
convenient accessory kit.
