Dear Fellow Christians,

As Christians, our source for doctrine should be the Holy Bible. (2 Tim 3:16). We should not
depend on pastor, teachers, or church for our doctrine. If we dont know the bible, how do we know if
the church is abiding in the scripture or wandered off the principles of the bible, as many organizations
have? The following is a list of some serious contradictions between the Holy Bible (KJV) and some of
the material BR Hicks teaches.
1. Outer Darkness
BR Hicks says The people who have known this Message and turned their backs will go to Outer
Darkness. We are going to go out of the New City to minister to them. This is what I teach you; the
highest level of Love, Mercy, and Grace is to reach out to an enemy. (BR Hicks, Sermon Studies #3325,
Pg. 6, Sun Am 12/29/2013)
So, we need BR Hicks interpretation of the bible to fulfill the highest calling of God in us. Furthermore, if
we reject it, we will be cast into outer darkness.
Of course, we are reminded, almost every service with scripture, of who is in charge of the teaching of
the doctrine and its not you.
Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ:
The problem is where in these verses above do we read the need her or any pastor for doctrine? The
Bible is where we receive our doctrine. I dont see man, at all, in the following verse.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Therefore, we get our doctrine from scripture, not a human. Furthermore, the Bible says we dont need
any one to teach us the Word to fulfill Gods highest calling for us. The Holy Ghost teaches us all things.
1Jn 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man
teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as
it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
1Jn 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
Anointing (G5545) means = the special endowment (chrism) of the Holy Spirit: - anointing, unction.
She will never show you the scriptures that takes away her power and give it back to you.
1Pe 5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.

lords (G2634) = to lord against, that is, control, subjugate: - exercise dominion over (lordship), be lord
over, overcome
One would think telling people they are going to outer darkness, because they reject her Message is
lording.
Highest Level of Word
How can BR Hicks Message be the highest level of Word when its contrary to Gods Word?
Her interpretation of the Bible is full of speculation and opinions which cant be proven in the Bible. How
many sermons do you hear and not understand because you cant see how she gets a specific
interpretation of the scriptures. You are instructed to put it on the shelf. Thats because it cant be
proven in the Word of God.
Is this why she uses so much of rabbinical Hebrew, so you cant test The Message to Gods
Word? Only a special few who know rabbinical Hebrew and therefore, can unlock the secrets of the
Word of God. You have to believe her, do what she says, or else, go to outer darkness? If Satan can get
you away from your bible and believe things contrary, he is making good progress.
Checking and comparing the doctrine was noble in Acts 17:11.
Act 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all
readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
Judging
BR Hicks defenders love to say you shouldnt judge her. But she can do it and its okay. Who is
she to judge others to outer darkness? The three verses where outer darkness is mentioned God is
sending the decree to these people to outer darkness, not BR Hicks. If fact, condemning people to outer
darkness, who doesnt follow her message is against Gods Word.
Since Christ is head of the church (Gods people)
Eph 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even
Christ:
He then judges
2 Tim 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and
the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
Who is BR Hicks to attempt to send out a decree to Gods people to outer darkness? Else to inject fear,
to deceive and manipulate the church for her power, glory and will.
2. Fathers Realm and Jesus Christs Sufficiency
BRH says Job was a pretty good guy in the beginning. The Bible says he was perfect in his way. He was
perfect as far as he had gone, the stature he had gained in the Son. But when he hit the stature of the
Father, he went crazy because the Father came after pride that Job did not even know he had because
he had preached the stature, as it were, of the Son of God, and he had done great things and blessed
great people. They had blessed him. They had waited on him. They had honored him and had given him
respect. But look how pride grew in his garden, and the Father does not like it. So the Father said, in so

many words, Son, step aside. It is My department now. I am going to come over here and take over.
What did Job do for thirty chapters or more? Complain. (BR Hicks, Sermon Studies #SP268, Pg. 4,

we are to grow into the Fathers Realm. (BR Hicks, Sermon Studies #3368, Pg. 7, Fri pm 5/30/2014)
First, the bible says, there is no way to measure where you are in God. Thank God! Its probably because
God doesnt want you to sabotage your own growth with pride or despair. IMHO
1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we
know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
You have to die first, and then God pulls out the measuring stick for judgement.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Second, there is no scripture to reference growth in the Fathers stature or realm. The bible doesnt say
anywhere that you grow past the Son into the Fathers stature. It does say
Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a
perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
It doesnt say fullness of Christ and the Father. No, it just says CLEARLY the fulness of Christ. Thats the
end of the growth. There is no need to twist the scriptures here. Either its in the scripture or its not.
God had plenty of opportunity to put in the scripture, if it was so.
Finally, Jesus Christ is sufficient. All power has been given to Jesus. How else could he bring everything
under subjection and bring it to the Fathers feet if he didnt have the power to subdue everything, even
our own hearts and will.
Eph 1:20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right
hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is
named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in
earth.
Other religions acknowledge the Father, but not the Son. They too, like BR Hicks, think Jesus Christ is not
enough or at all.
Joh 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not
the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.
How deceived are you to think you can grow past the Son, Jesus Christ, and into the Father? If
this were true, you would be greater than the Son. Man will never be greater than the Son. However,
this explains who she thinks she is, why she thinks she can twist the Word of God to whatever she wants
and get away with it.

In many sermon studies like this one above, BR Hicks disrespects and gives a doormat type
treatment to our Lord Jesus Christ. Where in the Holy Bible did the Father ever have this attitude of
Son, step aside. It is My department now. I am going to come over here and take over to Jesus Christ?
He didnt. This is just another BR Hicks make-believe doctrines. She believes Jesus Christ does not have
the power to handle Job. Through her deceit, it is another way Satan is successfully belittling Jesus
Christ, regarding him as insufficient to the church, insinuating Jesus Christ does not have full capability
to complete the work in us.
3. The Star of David
BRH says I have taught this Truth in so many places. One time I was in New York with some Jewish
friends. I was almost ready to go out the door when we got on the subject of the Mosaic
Tabernacle. (I wait until it is Gods Time to speak. I do not have to convince anybody of anything.
This is not my calling. My calling is just to declare the Truth that I know at Gods appointed
Time.) The man asked me something about the Mosaic Tabernacle. And, I said, David, do you
know where in the Word of God the Star of David, the Mogan David, originated? He said, No.
So, with just my finger, I made a Cross on the wall, and I made east and west and south and north.
I began to set in the furniture in place, and he was following me. I said, I will show you where
the Star originated. I have done that all over the world with whatever instruments I have
available. If I do not have any, I just use my finger and point out where the furniture was placed.
And, they can see the Cross, especially if they are good students who study the Word of God.
Now, I want to study with you and show you this Truth because it is so important to us. (BR Hicks,

BR Hicks says You already have seen the top triangle of the Mogen David appear. I have asked many
Jewish people over the world, but nobody knows the origin of the Star of David or the Mogen David.
(BR Hicks, Sermon Studies Tape #1535, Pg.3, Fri Pm 4/25/1997)
The Bible says
Amo 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your
god, which ye made to yourselves.
Amo 5:27 Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name
is The God of hosts.
The first mention of this star in the bible is as an image and a god. This star was in a separate tabernacle,
not Gods tabernacle.
God gave specific orders for his tabernacle to be built. Every last detail was designed by God.
God did not use mans input to design anything with the tabernacle. Israel designed and made this star.
It was out of their own rejection of God and his plan. So, God sends them into captivity.
Later, in the New Testament, Steven being filled with the Holy Ghost, reminds them of this in Acts
before being stoned to death.
Act 7:42 Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book
of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of
forty years in the wilderness?
Act 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye
made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

Act 7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking
unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.
If the star was of God, why did he send them into captivity for having it? Why didnt God put it in the
tabernacle? Oh, maybe its part of the hidden truths of Gods Word. This must be where God hides his
Word from the wise and the prudent. So now, with that scripture, we have permission to twist and
manipulate Gods Word to whatever we want? Never!
In this case, BR Hicks is taking the star of the gods Remphan, Moloch and Chiun, putting that in the
tabernacle, calls it the seal of the bride and a great mystery God revealed to her. Who are we kidding
here? You mean to tell me that God is going to honor a star that man designed in rebellion against God
and this is the seal of the bride? Never!
At least Israel kept their image star separate from Gods tabernacle. BR Hicks has brought it in the
tabernacle, Logos it, and brags about it to the Jews as a mystery no one knows but her.
BR Hicks has said Israel had put a cross in the middle in times past. Why would Israel put a cross in the
middle of an image that they made to worship as an image of their god? Nonsense!
Just for amusement purposes, lets see how she forms the star from the tabernacle. I am going
to paraphrase here but see Sermon Studies #1625, Pg.2, Fri Pm 3/27/1998 for details.
You can form the top triangle of the star by using the order in which God told Moses to set up the
furniture. First was placed the ARK on west side, then the Table of Shewbread on the Northside, then
the Candlestick on the Southside. This forms the two descending bars of the top triangle. Then, the Alter
of Incense for the third bar connecting the two descending bars.
Then BR Hicks says So, at the Brazen Altar, we find Blood and Fire, which are pictures of
spiritual experiences in the Stature of Jesus Christ. Then, we put the Blood and Fire together with the
Water. If we put the two triangles Together, we see the Star of David. This is why I use the Star of David
built upon a cross as the Logo of this church. Sermon Studies #1625, Pg.5, Fri Pm 3/27/1998
What? She starts off using the order of which God told Moses to lay out the furniture, now she
switches to using the experience of the bottom of the tabernacle to form bottom triangle.
You could not form this star if you were consistent in the order of Moses layout, because it would more
so look like a cross. Nor could you form a star using the experiences of each piece furniture because it
would more so look like a cross, also. This star formation just does not fit. BR Hicks is forcing it to try to
make it fit. Either, it fits or it doesnt. She must be thinking, if the star doesnt form with order here at
the bottom like it did at the top, Ill change it to the experiences of the tabernacle for the bottom to
make it fit. I have to have my way at all cost.
The Star of David is of Satan. Here are a list of some of the uses and meanings about this very wicked
star.
A Masonic book called The Second Mile, an Eastern Star book, reveals that the "six pointed star is a very
ancient symbol, and one of the most powerful." The hexagram is used in magic, witchcraft, sorcery and
occultism and the casting of zodiacal horoscopes by astrologers. "It was considered to possess
mysterious powers."

The six pointed star is used by magicians and alchemists. The sorcerers believed it represented the
footprints of a special kind of DEMON called a trued and used it in ceremonies both to call up demons
and to keep them away (O. J. Graham, The Six Pointed Star, New Puritan Library, 1988, p.35).
Bill Schnoebelen, a former Satanist, says, "To the sorcerer, the hexagram is a powerful tool to invoke
Satan." In fact, the word "hex" -- as to put a "hex" or "curse" on people -- comes from this word.
If you examine the so-called "Star of David," or hexagram, closely, you will discover something
astonishing. It has six points, forms six equilateral triangles, and in its interior forms a six sided hexagon - thus it reveals the number of Satan antichrist beast, -- 6 points, 6 triangles, and the 6 sides of the
hexagram -- 666!!!
Google the 3 images (Star of Moloch, Star of Chiun and Star of Remphan) you need to see what it stands
for and its uses.
4. Stars Speak Book
BR Hicks says It (Stars Speak book) is strictly an assimilation of facts from bible as they relate to the
twelve signs of the zodiac, particularly in its purpose and influence in our life. (The Stars Speak, BR
Hicks, Introduction, Christ Gospel Press, March 22, 2012)
For definition purposes Wikipedia reads
Astrology consists of several pseudoscientific systems of divination based on the premise that
there is a relationship between astronomical phenomena and events in the human world. In the West,
astrology most often consists of a system of horoscopes purporting to explain aspects of a person's
personality and predict future events in their life based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other
celestial objects at the time of their birth. The majority of professional astrologers rely on such systems.
Astrology has been rejected by the scientific community as a pseudoscience, having no validity
or explanatory power for describing the universe. Among other issues, there is no proposed mechanism
of action by which the positions and motions of stars and planets could affect people and events on
Earth that does not contradict well understood basic aspects of biology and physics.
Basically, astrology is a belief the signs of the zodiac have a purpose and influence in our life.
Bible says
Dan 2:27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath
demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;
Dan 5:15 And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should
read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the
interpretation of the thing:
Isa 47:13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the
monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.
Astrologers (H1895) = A primitive root of uncertain (perhaps foreign) derivation; to be a horoscopist: - +
(astro-) loger.
Through the prophets, God mocks the astrologers and taunts Israel to call upon them to redeem their
situation. They fail every time.

The Stars Speak book is nothing less than astrology. Its not of God and God makes that clear in
his Word. Satan pushes this. This is a trap by Satan for you to believe in the power of the stars. If BR
Hick walks and talks with God why would she play with astrology?
5. New Testament originally written in Hebrew or Greek?
BRH says the New Testament was originally written in Hebrew.
God said he will preserve his word
Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven
times.
Psa 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
No ancient Hebrew manuscript of the New Testament has ever been found from the early centuries of
Christianity. The oldest are Greek.
How can this be? Since God preserved the Old Testament original manuscripts in Hebrew
through all of the trials of Israel, do you think God would have preserved the original manuscripts of the
New Testament if it was written in Hebrew? Yes, he could have and he didnt. He preserved them in
Greek.
One of the many tactics Satan tries to use is that you cant trust your bible. He knows if he can
get you to doubt Gods Word he has a chance to get you. BR Hicks, Islam, to Mormons all believe the
Bible or New Testament was tainted in translation. They believe parts are true but other parts
mistranslated. If you believe that, you will start to doubt Gods Word. You will begin to look to other
sources for Gods real word. The battle is about trusting the New Testament to be Gods true Word.
Believe, read, and stand on Gods Word. Dont be deceived. Satan knows he doesnt stand a chance with
the Bible.
6. 666 love light and life
BRH says Pressing onward. This is what I want here in verse six. Six-six, if you get that joined to your
six number, you are going to have 6-6-6 and the LORD says, use wisdom, look and find 6-6-6 in the good
side, then you will know why the Antichrist will steal it. And I have taught you, it is here in the Holy
Place. Six Candle branches here, one loin or shaft, that is what it means. The same word for shaft, is the
same word for the LORDs side that was pierced and out came Blood and Water. But, here were six
branches over here on the Candlestick, and at the Table of Shewbread were two rows of six pieces of
bread in each row. So you have six, and six, and six. (BR Hicks, Sermon Studies #2365, Pg8, Sun Pm

I have to tell you something. I must tell you something. [Tell it! Tell it!] Okay, I will. Once
upon a time, on a bright, sunshiny day, I taught you all the mystery of six-six-six. I told you how
the Devil stole that. The true six-six-six was in the Ta b e r n a c l e. I showed how there were six
branches that came out of the Candlestick three on either side of the main stem of the Father.
This, of course, was a picture of Jesus Christ, the Light, coming out of the loins of the Father. He
said , I am the light of the world. Then I told you that over on the left was the Table of
Shewbread that had two piles of bread: six cakes in each pile, remember? So from there we get
six-six-six. This is so awesome! Six-six-six is the number of light and life. I told you that the
Golden Altar is the place of love. And Holy Ghost intercession and travail give birth to the light
of Truth. This Message that you have was born in my prayer closet in strong intercession and

travail. So that is how light is brought to birth. (BR Hicks, Sermon Studies #2063, Pg5, Thu Pm 3/7/2002)
Bible says
Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or
the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the
number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
666 is the number of his name (beast). There is nothing light and life of 666 in the bible.
Exo 25:31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be
made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
You can separate the candlestick to represent what you want.
Notice the details of how the bible refers to his shaft, his branches, his bowls..
The shaft and the braches represents the same part of the God head, shall be of the same. To separate
it you go against Gods Word. You cannot take this out of context and get truth. It is one piece of gold,
all a picture of the Son of God. The LORD JESUS CHRIST. No other part of the God head.
Why go this far to put 666 in the tabernacle? Its not like there are other scriptures saying 666 is
a good thing? What is her purpose here? Is she trying to deceive people in taking the mark?
7. Qualification of Church leaders
BR Hicks has placed many pastors, leaders and elders in churches who dont qualify. If she had not
ignored Gods Word she wouldnt be in the trouble she is in today. How many pastors/leaders have you
had that didnt qualify?
Bible says
1Ti 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior,
given to hospitality, apt to teach;
1Ti 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
1Ti 3:4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
1Ti 3:5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
1Ti 3:6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
1Ti 3:7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and
the snare of the devil.
1Ti 3:8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of
filthy lucre;
1Ti 3:9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
1Ti 3:10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found
blameless.
1Ti 3:11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
1Ti 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
Tit 1:5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting,
and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

Tit 1:6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or
unruly.
Tit 1:7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given
to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
Tit 1:8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
Defending BR Hicks Teachings, Doctrine and Behavior.
People are famous for saying there is a difference between the message and the messenger
That is not true at all. As illustrated in the above pages, the messenger is the message.
Luk 6:43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good
fruit.
