Recognition Activity
Objective of the activity:
To know the course topics, making interaction with groupmates. To learn how to
use Web 2.0 tools, essential for the development of teaching material, and to share
it through the network.
Topics:
Technology and education - TEFL - Web 2.0 Tools - Resources - Strategies and
Methodologies to teach English as a Foreign Language.
Expected products:
All the group members will join info using Movenote. After they manage the tool,
each student must prepare a tutorial through Movenote. The tutorial should be about
using any of the following tools: Prezi, VoiceThread, Powtoon, Scribd, and ISSUU.
Activity development process:
Please read the description below which presents, step by step, the development process
of the activity:
1. Each student must introduce himself/herself in the appropriate activity forum, sharing
information with their peers, as well as the interest and goals he/she has towards the
course. Remember that you will hold all collaborative course work with your peers, so it is
important to have good communication skills with them, from the beginning.
2. Review the following information about what it is and how Movenote is used:
