of the many specific needs of marketing. We do this through a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies that are
designed and prepared FIRST, so that you, can ensure the data will reflect the questions you wish to answer.

Research conducted for Wyeth, now a subsidiary of Pfizer, another bAM! client, included statistical analysis of
test data gathered for various products being introduced into the OTC market. This research was conducted in
conjunction with the research facility collecting actual data. We used statistical software to determine the effec-
tiveness of the price points and tester satisfaction that these various products fell into. This research was com-
pleted during the final stages of product testing. These products were available in most markets shortly thereafter.
Our researchers utilized existing data, both qualitative and quantitative for Wyeth to ascertain findings. Ongoing
research continues as part of Pfizer’s’ Post Marketing Commitments program.

Proctor and Gamble inquired about our marketing services due to a desire to increase consumer product offerings
around Utah. By conducting research based on brand catagories, current offerings and product popularity, we were
able to distinguish numerous areas where P&G’s current offerings within the distribution area failed to capitalize on
openings within each specific market segment. And where the barriers to entry were low in each category. P&G was
then able to increase product distribution within the area and compete directly with local brand offerings such as
Kirkland Signature and Kroger. Product sampling, historical data, in-store surveys and ethnographic research were
conducted to discern adequate data.

General Motors Automotive Service Education Program (GM-ASEP), an affiliate of General Motors, requested de-
mographic and psycho graphic information on individuals likely to enroll in the automotive technician program. By
gaining additional insight into these individuals, GM-ASEP hopes to target additional individuals by highlighting
the unique differences that the GM-ASEP program offers over others in the same field. Market Research gathered for
the GM project included ethnographic research, open forums, online surveys and field surveys. This data also assisted
bAM! in creating advertising, multimedia and web-based content.

Search Engine Marketing
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) is a form of Internet marketing that calls to
advance web sites by increasing their visibility in Search Engine Result Pages
