A wide range of different origami has

been enjoyed in Japan since ancient
times.

Star mark

With the 'Goldfish' pattern, you can make

a goldfish with a wavy tail.

The letters in blue circles indicate the fold lines.

They are also shown on the practice sheet.

Fold the paper in

half along Fold A .

Fold the right and left

corners backwards, along Fold C ,
so that they meet at the top corner.

Fold the right and left

corners inwards, along Fold B ,
so that they meet at the
bottom corner, at the star mark.

Flatten down the edges.

Flatten down the edges.
Fold the lower part of the
triangle along Fold F .
Fold the lower triangle
backwards along Fold E .

Fold the right and left corners

diagonally along Fold D .

Flatten down the edges.

Fold the lower triangle up
along Fold G .
Flip the goldfish over.
Cut with your scissors to the
end of the scissors lines
at the right and left.
Turn the goldfish over.
Tailfins

Gently open up the tailfins.

Gently push in the

lower corners towards
each other,making a
diamond shape.

Flatten down the edges.

Fold the rightmost corner,

up to where the paper is cut,
and then fold it back again.

Fold back and crease

the tailfins.
