St. Paul Lutheran and St. John Lutheran, Lakeside-Marblehead, Ohio
Our Vision: To be a vibrant, Spirit-filled people, participating in Gods work in the world.

From Pastor Chris...Easter keeps showing up!

In the beauty of the lilies
Summer lilies are blooming in our back flowerbed splashing their beauty of
oranges, yellows, maroons, variegated colors, ruffled edges shouting their
Glory to God!. But the most beautiful to me is the humble, solitary stem of
white blossoms, an Easter lily from church whose bulbs Steve threw in the
ground as an afterthought last fall. Easter keeps showing up!
Easter keeps showing up! We celebrate Christmas in July for fun, so what do you think about
Easter in August? The truth is that this lily, this symbol of resurrection life, is just one of Gods many
reminders of Easters power in our lives every day.
Easter keeps showing up - in the morning sunrise, in a rainbow breaking through dark clouds, in a
smile that blooms in the midst of hard times, in the beauty of the words, I love you. Look for it today
and every day, and you will seeEaster keeps showing up!

The lily proclaims, Alleluia, Christ is risen! May our lives respond, He is risen, indeed, Alleluia!
