and His grace, so that our authors / publishers can complete this simple scientific
papers.
The intent and purpose of the preparation of this paper is to urge students to care
about the environment MTsN Kepanjenkidul Blitar, so that the environment in MTsN
Kepanjenkidul Blitar be beautiful.
This report is based on research through the study of literature. But in
preparation, we realize there are still many shortcomings and far from the level of
perfection. Therefore, we humbly await suggestions and constructive criticism from all

CHAPTER 1

1.1 Background
The existence of a variety of changing conditions and environmental quality will
certainly be a bad influence on humans. Various forms of damage to the environment,
such as air pollution, water pollution and environmental degradation due to natural
disasters, floods, landslides, forest fires, water crisis, the school becomes barren. This
over time will be able to have global impact on the environment, particularly for public
health and the school itself.
Humans are sometimes immersed in a series of activities that are too excessive
and not paying attention to other interests. Lack of public awareness in managing and
maintaining environmental sustainability, has resulted in deterioration of environmental
quality that is so severe. This is of special concern to let the person in charge of the
school and community in re-arrange the school environment from all forms of
environmental damages, in addition to creating and building a culture of education
actors in environmentally sound.
In this context, it is no exaggeration if the green movement can re-greening
program promoted through the school environment as a whole. Therefore, in order to
maintain and preserve the environment, it is necessary for the good cooperation between
the government, community and the school itself. Various natural disasters that
frequently hit some areas in our country is basically due to the lack of public awareness
in managing and maintaining environmental sustainability.
Environmental issues, such as floods, droughts, landslides, forest fires, litter
problems, and increased levels of air pollution is an environmental problem that is not
classified as trivial. Why not? Therefore, incomplete or prolonged environmental
problems will destroy the potential fulfillment of future generations.
Development in schools can let attention surrounding ecosystem. Do not, under
the pretext of existence environment ruled by environmental regulation regardless of
environmental sustainability and comfort.
Responding to this, as education actors and community members who love the
environment, at least we are moral (ethics) can participate in any programs related to
environmental sustainability announced by the government through the environment
closest to us is that the school environment.

1.2 Problem Formulation


1. How does the process of formation of greening environment in MTsN
Kepanjenkidul Blitar?
2. What is the condition of greenery in MTsN Kepanjenkidul Blitar?
3. How is the environment of care treatments greening in MTsN Kepanjenkidul
Blitar?

1.3 Objectives
1. To find out how the process of formation of greening in MTsN Kepanjenkidul
Blitar
2. To determine the condition of the greenery in MTsN Kepanjenkidul Blitar
3. To find out how to care greening environment in MTsN Kepanjenkidul Blitar

1.4 Benefits Research


With the implementation of greening the school environment is expected to be
one of the alternatives in managing and maintaining environmental sustainability in the
region of Indonesia. In addition to the high public awareness in maintaining and
preserving the environment in anticipation of all forms of destruction and environmental
pollution.

CHAPTER 2

2.1 Process
Things need to be done in the greening are:

Waste management / garbage and water


Landscaping and greening
Physical Care of the building and the environment
The school became the center of greening (green school) that benefit the
environment

2.2 Conditions
Greening conditions in MTsN Kepanjenkidul Blitar running smoothly. So that
the environment becomes green, beautiful, healthy, clean and maintained.

2.3 Treatment
The way that the environment is maintained are:

Do not pluck, trim, damaging existing plants.


Non-stomping, playing in the park lawns and ornamental gardens that lead to the
weeds die.
Do not dispose of waste in plants.
Do community service to clean the trash so that the garden looks beautiful.
In the school garden aligned to be maintained by means of sweeping, watering,
fertilizer meberi thus increase fertility.
Give pesticides so that the plants are not disturbed growth.

2.4 Benefits
Build awareness of students to have a broad insight into the environment is a
"pillar" in maintaining the environmental conditions actually far from various sources
destruction and environmental pollution. Because, basically environmental problems
resulting environmental damage caused by the hands of man himself.
With the pattern of education, through educational institutions or by direct
counseling to students seriously be created cultural roots that have high environmental
awareness. That is, environmental ethics will be the foundation of every development in
Indonesia.

CHAPTER 3

3.1 Conclusion
Structuring School Environment into the Green School is a school that
environmental regulation can create a beautiful atmosphere, cool, clean, healthy and
able to support the implementation of the teaching process with status: in space or outer
space, in space and outer space, as well as beneficial for the environment outside of
school.
School environment conducive indispensable in producing skilled graduates
through the teaching and learning process-based quality education systems. Not only
that, conducive school environment will also promote the establishment of quality of
life pattern which is currently indispensable in enhancing the nation's competitiveness in
the eyes of the world at the same time preserving the wealth of natural resources in
Indonesia.

3.2 Suggestions
Let's do the greenery in the neighborhood MTsN Kepanjenkidul this Blitar.
