Dear Kemppi dealer,

We are pleased to start the first dealer update of 2015 with exciting news
about a new major Kemppi dealer sales campaign, information about our
current regional dealer seminar and service training roadshow, and
finalisation about several new product introductions or updates which are
being demonstrated within our regional roadshow sessions.
As you will probably be aware, Kemppi Australia has held its list prices and
authorised dealer discount structure from 2014, so the price lists issued from
May 2014 will remain valid until further notice. If you are in need of a price
list or the dealer discount structure, please contact our customer service

We also have our new 2015 Kemppi product catalogue available in both hard
copy and e-format, please contact Kemppi customer service to order copies
or to get the link sent to access the 2015 product catalogue online. The
new catalogue features all the new product solutions in this bulletin and
complements the regional roadshow material. Every attendee at the regional
roadshows will receive their own hard copy of the new product catalogue.

The Kemppi Start Your Engines Dealer Sales Campaign

Start Your Engines Dealer Sales Campaign.

From 10th April to 30th June 2015, Kemppi dealers within Australia and
New Zealand will be invited to compete in a sales campaign. It will be
based upon accumulating points for sales of Kemppi industrial Mig,
BETA/DELTA helmets, KAS3 enquiries and other criteria in order for two
nominated drivers to qualify to participate in a national karting mini grand prix
to be held on August 7th in Sydney. The winner, runner up and third place
drivers of the national mini grand prix will then qualify to take part in the
Kemppi APAC karting championship to be held in Singapore over the F1
weekend, 19/20th September. This involves Kemppi subsidiaries from all over
the APAC region and everyone who gets to the finals will also be a guest of
Kemppi APAC at the FIA F1 race on that weekend. Kemppi will cover the cost
of all travel and accommodation involved in these events.
We will send out specific details very soon, but the first step is to register
your dealer drivers maximum 2 per dealer branch, who must be sales
responsible for Kemppi products. Dealers will compete in the qualifying
round on a regional basis. Good luck!

Regional Dealer Seminar and Service Training Sessions

In mid March we completed the first of several regional seminars
for dealer sales staff and service training for service agent technicians.
The Melbourne session was very successful and focused upon new
Kemppi products and solutions, both in presentation and demonstration
workshop formats.

It included the launch of the most advanced industrial Mig welding

package in the market, with three different levels of software platform,
dependant upon the functionality required, including the Intelligent
variant allowing welding parameters to be set up from an Android
using Bluetooth.
The 2015 series of dealer and service roadshows continues in Brisbane
on 22nd/23rd April, the full list of events is listed below. We strongly urge
you, as our dealers, to get behind these events, which are designed to give
you the support required to grow the Kemppi brand locally and learn about
our future approach to the market.

New Product Introductions

Fastmig X Black Range 350 and 450 Amp:
A choice of regular, pipe and Intelligent variants.
Fastmig X Regular is designed for basic pulse Mig welding especially thick
plate applications, includes Mig/Mag, synergic and single and double pulse
processes as standard.
Fastmig X Pipe is specially designed for pipe welding applications with the
ability to achieve root pass welding up to five times faster than normal, and
can be used for all plate applications too. With WiseRoot+ software on
board, it provides excellent open gap root pass ability on pipes and plates
without the need for backing support, allowing root pass welding to occur
up to 5 times faster than Tig and 3 times that of synergic Mig.

Fastmig X Black.

Fastmig X Intelligent provides the highest functionality of Mig welding for all
metals and processes, including thin metals utilizing WiseThin+ software. Plus
the full suite of welding programs covering any industrial welding application
which can be set up on numerous channels. The Intelligent platform includes
ARC mobile control software for Android mobile devices which can be used for
ease of setting and monitoring of welding parameters remotely.
Wire feeders for the range are based upon a 200mm or 300mm spool
option in Regular, Pipe (P) for Fe and SS applications and AMC Intelligent
feeder software.
The beauty of the X range is it is totally upgradeable with a common power
source configuration, and simple upgrade by updating the software and
coupling with the appropriate wire feeder in some circumstances.
The three Fastmig X platforms will replace the current Fastmig Pulse series,
which is being phased out by the end of 2015.

Note: Special welding applications present specific challenges, which most

suppliers find hard to resolve. One example is deep narrow gap welding
which is typical in root pass welding. The traditional solution is long conical
narrow gap nozzles and contact tips for better joint access, but which results
in small diameter nozzles which can quickly block with spatter and
adversely affect shieding gas coverage. Kemppis answer is the Black Thermo
ceramic coating nozzles, which provide lower surface temperatures and
less spatter build up at a slight premium when compared to standard
components. These nozzles provide excellent operational value to the
end customer.

Fastmig M:
320, 420 and 520 amp with regular and synergic variants.
The Fastmig M series replaces the current Fastmig Basic KM and Synergic
KMS models and brings the option within one platform, providing higher
performance and better quality control of Mig welding in regular and
synergic modes.
KM and KMS models will be only available upon special request and phased
out completely by the end of 2015.

NB: A free ARC-I data catch solution software for determining a clients
welding quality performance will be supplied free of charge to authorised
dealers on the first Fastmig package ordered following the respective dealer
seminar where training is provided. This is on the basis that the ARC-I will be
deployed.
Colour differentiation you will notice that moving ahead, Kemppi now has
three product platforms - a black high end, traditional orange workhorse and
grey entry level - to match the needs of the various demands of customers in
different applications and market segments.

Now in production, the Kemppi ARC validator is a simple to use, single source
validation tool which combines all necessary steps to provide validation of
any brand of welding equipment.

Increasingly, our customers are demanding the ability to obtain annual

validation of their welding equipment due to regulatory or internal company
requirements, and it is a standard requirement of the welding quality
management standard AS/NZS 3834-2.
Kemppi provides time saving value with the ARC validator package which
includes all hardware and software. All steps can be automatically activated
and certification generated from a single source, and results downloaded
onto your laptop.

Other Product Updates

Fitweld 300 with meters.

Fitweld 300 with Meters:

Fitweld is an excellent self-contained and portable solution for tack welding.
It provides fast and effective tack welding power. The original model has
now been upgraded with digital meters as standard, providing a solution
where the client needs preset and monitoring of welding parameters.

Minarc EVO 180 VRD:

The Minarc EVO 180 VRD offers high power stick and lift Tig welding capability
in an easily portable and robust package. The 180 amp model has been
introduced to replace the well established 150 amp version and pricing is
extremely competitive for the extra power available.

At the time of writing, there are a very limited number of Minarc EVO 150 VRD
models left in stock. We are offering special price concession for fast
clearance. Please check with our customer service department for an up to
date situation and pricing.

WISE Demo:
The factory loaded WISE demo time is no longer included within the Fastmig
family. This is denoted by the removal of the demo sticker on power sources.
