ORAL ASSESSMENT: GROUP WORK

PART ONE/SCENE ONE:

Two girls are roaming around in shopping complex in a broad daylight. Out of
sudden, one of them speaks up.
A: Jie, Its been a long time since we ate pizza together. How about we stop
at the new Pizza outlet for a while, spending our precious time together? Are
you okay with it?
B: Yes, why not? Im craving for it though. With those double decker cheese,
beef and chicken pepperoni toppings
A: Yes, yes, and yesYoure not going to finish, arent you?
B: I will neverOkay, okay, I surrender.
A: You are just you, anyway. Shall we proceed?
B: Sure! Lets go, grab them!
The two best friends are walking hand in hand; intend to be searching for a
new opened Pizza outlet. Soon, at the counter,
C: May I assist you, miss? Eh~~ I think you guys seem familiar to me??
(A & B look at each other, wondering who this person?)
B: You studied in Hogwarts International School, right?
C: Yeah!
A: Let me guess your name. (In a few seconds) You are Insyirah, correct?
C: You saw my nametag (LOL)
A: Nice shot Insyirah, but its a big yes, I do remember you until today!
Recalling names is actually hard. Honestly speaking.
C: Thats so true!
B: Whats my name then?
C: Wait! Is it QiHan?
B: What a cute pronunciation! Anyway, Im not a jade. Qi means jade in
Chinese. Its JiHan.
C: Thought so. Back to our topic, have you placed your order?
A: Not yet.
C: So, what do you need, my dear friends?
B: What is todays special menu?
C: Today, we haveDouble-decker cheesed Pizza with Carbonara
toppings!! *claps*
A: Woohoo~ Sounds scrumptious! Jie, jie, lets take this!
B: Alright! Insyirah, we would take that.
C: Here is your receipt. Wait for a moment; I will come up with your order

later as my shift going to end soon.

A & B: Okay!
PART ONE/SCENE TWO:
C finally come up to her long-time-no-see schoolmates, with her hand
holding a trail filled with foods.
C: Your pizza has landed gracefully on your table, Your Highness.
B: Ohmygod!! This so beautifully made in oven.
A: I cant resist those cute toppings!
C: Stop with your squeals guys! Or not I will take this back.
B: Aainaa started it first! Why would you taking them back? They need to be
eaten.
A: Why me It wasnt me in the first place!
C: Stop, will you? People are watching us being childish. This is not toys to
be argued with. Im going to eat this all on my own!
A: This is your entire fault!
B: Not mine, its yours!
C: These two goblins not going to stop even I did a punishment. Were like
throwing back to primary school era.
(Insyirah takes two slices of pizza, and stuffed into her two goblins friends.)
C: Hah, finally, settled!
PART ONE/SCENE THREE:
The two schoolmates are eating without caring to the strangers giving weird
look due to their eating habit. They keep munching on, swallowing on, and
so on. Meanwhile, Insyirah are scrolling down twitters timeline as she gets
bored watching at her dumb friends.
C: Do you guys know M.Z Rolling?
(A & B look up to Insyirah, and nodding their head off instantly)
C: Finish up! I have something for you guys~
(A & B still doing their own things, not caring to Insyirahs intentions)
C: I repeat, finish up! Be quick! We have someone to meet!
(A & B swallow the foods in one go.)
A & B: Yes, Sir!
PART ONE/SCENE FOUR:
The two dumb friends of Insyirah follow the Pizza girl with curiosity. They are
just too tired to think of what it might be. Just follow, it will end deliberately.

A: Where are we going to, Insyi?

B: This is a real long journey in this gigantic shopping mall.
A & B: Insyi, are you playing a prank on us?
(As those two babbling tak sudah, Insyirah claims)
C: WE ARE ARRIVED/SURPRISE!!!
A & B: WHAT??!! JUST A BOOKSTORE???
C: Yes! Why not?
(A & B come nearer to a medium-size chalkboard, they read up out loud, just
enough for them to hear.)
A & B: Meet & Greet the Author of Hally Pottre, M.Z Rolling today!!
They are blank. Interpreting data mode is on.
A: ITS A REAL M.Z ROLLING. MY WISHES ARE FINALLY GRANTED.
B: I AM SPEECHLESS!
C: What are we waiting for? LETS CONQUER THIS EVENT!
PART ONE/SCENE FIVE:
The three of them finally get their feet inside MIJA Bookstore Sdn. Bhd. They
grabbed the free merchandises as they queuing up to greet their favourite
author. Last but not least, their turns are finally up. Everyone are nervous,
shy and many sort of emotions.
C: OMG! I cant wait to see her!
A: I want to shake hands with her.
B: Our turn, our turn!
M: Hello, nice to meet you! Are you three best friends?
A: *whispers* M.Z. Rolling is talking to me!
B: Yes, we are. Just like, Harry, Ron and Hermoine.
M: Thats a nice metaphor.
C: We have read all of your series. Its a blast!
(A & B nodding repeatedly)
M: Thank you! So, what are your thoughts about the ending?
(Sign the books.)
C: It was vague on purpose? Why would you make it into that way?
M: I want my beloved readers to feel as if they are looking for Platform 9
through the mist, unable to make out exactly who was there and who was
not. Honestly speaking, my original epilogue was a lot more detailed but it

didnt work very well as a piece of writing. It felt very much that I had
crowbarred in every bit of information I couldIn a novel, you have to resist
the urge to tell everything. *smiles*
C: I got it now, thank you for answering my question.
M: My pleasure. You may share your thoughts to me, mine is not always
suitable to everyones heart.
A: Miss. Rolling, may I ask you something?
M: Of course, asking is not a crime.
A: Is it true you wanted to kill Rons dad, Arthur Weasley in Book 5?
M: Its a big yes! He was the person who got reprieve. When I sketched out
the books, Mr. Weasley was due to die in Book 5. I swapped him for someone
else, and I dont want to say who for the people who havent read it but I
made a decision as I went into writing Pheonix that I was going to reprieve
Mr. Weasley and I was going to kill someone else. And if you finish the book, I
expect you probably know and someone else who is a father. I couldnt bear
to kill him.
A: Is there any character that you have not originally planned to kill but
ended up with death?
M: Yes, there were two characters that died who I had not originally planned
to kill in the finale. Fred, Lupin and Tonks really caused me a lot of pain. Lupin
and Tonks were two who were killed who I had intended to keep alive. Its like
an exchange of hostages, isnt it? *smiles*
A: It was hard, wasnt it?
M: *nods*
B: My turn!!
M: Yes?
B: Miss. Rolling, why do I found chapter 34, in Book 7 is difficult to
understand?
M: Ah, the scene when Harry enters the forbidden forest to face
Voldermort?
B: Yes! Yes! That one I cant figure it out very well
M: If that so, to be honest, it was extremely difficult to write, the most
difficult of all chapters in the Seventh Book. I had this enormous explosion of
emotion and I cried and cried and cried. It was this amazing cathartic
moment the end of 17 years work, Harry will be always being a presence in
my life, really.
B: Oooh I could see that in you, you are absolutely a great author! Im
pleased!
M: I will take as a compliment; sincerely Im grateful to have you three as
my readers. So, here are your signed books! Have a fun ride! Thank you for

coming.
