DEATH OF THE SUN:

How long a star lives depends upon its mass. The bigger they are, the quicker they die.
This might seem odd, but the more mass a star has, then the hotter it gets. The hotter it
gets, the quicker it exhausts its fuel supply.

THE DEATH OF THE SUN:

Our nearest star, the Sun, will exhaust its supply of hydrogen fuel in around 4 billion
years. Then the Sun's core will collapse under its own gravity. At the same time, its
atmosphere will become unstable and start to expand. This will transform the Sun into a
huge red giant star.

I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace he upon him) as saying:
Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close
to the people only a distance of one mile. Sulaim b.
Amir said: By Allah, I do not know whether he meant by" mile" the mile
of the (material) earth or instrument used for applying measurement to
the eye. ("Sahih Muslim")

THE SUN EXPANSION MAKES IT TO SWALLOW
OTHER PLANETS:
MODERN SCIENCE: Tells us the expansion of the sun will makes it to swallow other
planets specially the inner ones

How will the Earth end? It all depends on how the sun ends. The Sun is a happy main
sequence star right now, but as it nears the end of its life in about 7.5 billion years, it will
begin to swell up as a red giant star. Her size will get so large that it will encompass the
orbits of the inner planets. Mercury and Venus will be consumed within the Sun.

WHAT ARE THE INNER PLANNETS?

The inner planets (those planets that orbit close to the sun) are quite different
from the outer planets (those planets that orbit far from the sun).

• The inner planets are: Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. They are
relatively small, composed mostly of rock, and have few or no
moons.

There is a great meaning is SURA# 75:8.9. As it refers to the splitting of the moon "not
splitting of the sun" then the joining of the moon and the sun which actually refers
directly to the red giant expansion reaching the moon, splitting it and swallowing it
