Introduction:
The proposed system will be a web based application that will automatically
manage your stored data efficiently and securely. The basic form of cloud storage
allows users to upload individual files or folders from their personal computers to a

central Internet server. This allows users to make backup copies of files in case their
originals are lost. Users can also download their files from the cloud to other
devices, and sometimes also enable remote access to the files for other people to
share.

Purpose:
The main purpose of making this system is to provide users a secure storage space
online where they can store their necessary information and data in the form of
files, images, text documents and anything they want. Users can access and
manage efficiently their data from anywhere and anytime, they can also share it
easily with anyone. There is no need to buy costly physical storage devices like
external hard drives, USB drives, there is less chances to lose data and secure from
any kind of disasters and intentional loss.

Scope:
Cloud storage has helped several enterprises to save money while adding to the convenience of the
users. Cloud Computing is an internet based computing where services are delivered to the users via
internet.
Cloud storage is now becoming a business standard. It simplifies the users accessibility. It provides a
virtual storage space to the user which could be used without bothering about the details of the entire
mechanism.
Here are some other reasons why every enterprise might need cloud computing for their business:

Cost savings - Cloud storage removes the requirement of a company to invest in storage
hardware and servers.

Focusing on the business -Since all the services will execute over the internet, a company does
not have to bother about technical issues and other problems associated with physical storage and
backup. A company can thus focus more on their business.

Performance - It delivers reliable performance irrespective to the geographical location of the

user.

Security - ESCS offers optimum security which protects you against any unauthorized access,
modification and loss of data.

Flexibility - Even if part of the cloud environment fails or stops working, the other resources
continue to work until the problem is fixed.

Access to files can be performed from anywhere

Backing up files are a cheaper way of storing important files

Disaster recovery is available and ensure all data can be restored

Functional Requirements:

User registration is required to access ESCS.

User must login to store or access data.
User data will be save in database.
A storage capacity must be available to user on demand.
User can manage all task including updating records.
This system will use for file sharing purposes I.e. authorized user will be
getting file from authorized privileges user.
