Introduction

1. This topic tests your vocabulary and knowledge in naming different parts of the human
and animal's body. Reading is the best way to enrich your vocabulary in naming them.
2. The human body is the entire structure of a human organism that consists of the head, the
body and the legs.
3. Most animal body structure consists of the head, thorax and the abdomen.
4. In an animal's body the section between the head and the abdomen is called the thorax.
5. Both in the human and animal's body. The abdomen is the section of the body that
contains the stomach.

(a) The human body can be divided into three section, the head, body and the leg.
(b) The section called the body can be further divided into two parts that are the chest and

(a) The human head can be divided into three parts, the hair, the ear and the face.

(a) The human eyes used for the sense of sight have these features
- The eyebrows is the name for the growth of hair just above the eyes.
- The skin under the eyebrows that covers the eyeballs is called the eyelids.

open

close
the
eye.
- The hair at the end of the eyelids is called the eyelashes.
- At the centre of the eyeball is a dark area called the pupil.
- The pupils of the eyes comes in many different colours which are black, brown, light
brown, deep blue, icy or light blue, grey and hazel which is a shade of green.

2. The body of most animal can be divided into three sections which are the head, thorax
and the abdomen.
