PREFACE
Management education seeks to accomplish several objectives
simulataneously. One is a set of concept so that student can understand the framework in
which business are made. the second is to operationalise those concept with specific tools
of analise. Industrial trainingis also one of the tools.
In my opinion management education may be divided in two
categories: Theory and Practical. The more emphasis should be on practical portion of
management theory is same everywhere, but nor practical what makes organizations
different from each other. Of course, the way of practicing management concept.
Management is an art of getting things done,and an art can only be experised through
practical only.
At this level, industrial training is the best tools for providing
practical knowledge of business function rather management function. the theory portion is
covered by classroom teaching and books where as the practical portion through
industrial training. There are other tools for imparting practical knowledge like case
studies, management games etc but they are not feasible at this level. Industrial training
provides in depth knowledge of various business environment and information related to
various function like production, finance, marketing, personnel etc.
I got a golden chance of industrial training in my third year of B.B.A. I have
gone through training at DUKE PLASTO TECHNIQUE PVT. LTD., BADARPURA . this
was a good chance to acquaint myself with various corporate function. I have tried my
level best to comprehend all the aspects of industrial visit in this project.

It was indeed an opportunity to prepare this report. third experience field with enthusiasm & real for
student of third year B.B.A. level preparation of such kind of report calls for intellectual nourishment
professional help & encouragement from money quarts.
I would like to express to my gratitude to our principal Mr. C.D.MODI for giving me opportunity to
learn about practical business environment for a period 28 days.
Also I am thankful to my professors.

EXECUTIVE SUMMERY
DUKE brand name the company has very good reputation in Gujarat.company
enjoy 20% market shares in Gujarat state. It was started turning company since 1982. The company
speeded over 47000sq.ft.land.
It is also having 178 distributors across the country. Company covers almost 85%
of market area. Marketing department of company is made up of three separate division. All marketing
function like research, product planning, distribution, advertising and engineering department
develops new product and works on launch project.
DUKE is a small company and there is no separate department for the function
related to finance but accounting department itself performance the task of finance. The head of
account department, account manager is responsible for activities of company.
