EXPERIENCES AND ACHIEVEMENTS

EOG Resources, Inc., Geology & Geophysics Department, Fort Worth, TX. July 2007 May 2015
Geologist II Operations
Worked in the Barnett Shale combo play (Fort Worth Basin) and drilled about 250 wells (horizontal,
vertical & slant). Prepared geological prognosis including but not limited to picking formation tops,
generating cross sections & maps, well to well correlations and identifying any geological risks.
For well planning, generated pre-drill well trajectories from seismic profiles by picking lateral targets
along the proposed well path. Geosteered horizontal wells in a 24/7 operation using Petra & SES
geosteering software to ensure proper placement of wellbore within a specific target. Remotely
monitored rig activity and steered horizontal wells using directional survey and MWD data from drilling
rig.
Performed basic well log interpretation, QC mud log data & coring jobs, and did real time
monitoring and interpretation of data acquired while drilling
Part of a development team and did work directly with project geologist, project petrophysics
and drilling team during horizontal drilling operations
Participated in pre-spud meetings (office/rig), G&G and well frac meetings.
Updated grids, structure contour maps and isopach maps using Petra in light of new drilling
information obtained from active wells to help optimize well objectives.
Re-evaluated previous geo-steering jobs for wells drilled in the Marcellus shale.
Promoted from Operations Geologist I to Operations Geologist II
