JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT
OF EDDIE T. BAGSIK
FORMAL OFFER: This Judicial Affidavit will affirm to the truth of the
foregoing statements and to support the petition filed by EDILBERTO
BRAVO for an action of damages against JOSE DAMOLMOG under
Article 19 and 20 of the New Civil Code in Relation to Section 177 and 216
(b) (e) of Republic Act No. 8293.
I, EDDIE T. BAGSIK, of legal age, Filipino and with address at 123
Tulak St., Poblacion, Sibulan, Negros Oriental, after having been duly
sworn, hereby state and depose that:
PRELIMINARY STATEMENT
The person examining me is Atty. Rowtir John L. Banquerigo with
office address at Lukban St., Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental. The
examination is being held at the same aforementioned address. I am
answering his questions fully conscious that I do so under oath and may face
criminal liability for false testimony and/or perjury.
Q1:

Do you know the petitioner in this case who is Edilberto Bravo?

A1:

Yes sir.

Q2:

How did you know Edilberto Bravo?

Q2:

I was an attendee of his lecture, which was held on March 3, 2015 at


the Silliman University College of Law Moot Court.

Q3:

Do you know the respondent in this case who is Jose Damolmog?

A3:

Yes sir.

Q4:

How did you know Jose Damolmog?

A4:

I am his student in his Introduction to Law class at Baroque Law


School.

Q5:

How would you describe Jose Damolmog as a professor?

A5:

He is a strict professor and comes to class well prepared.

Q6:

What have you noticed in one of his lectures in your class?

A6:

In one of our class, his lecture was substantially the same with that of
the lecture of Atty. Bravo where he delivered sometime on March 3,
2015 at the Silliman University College of Law Moot Court.

Q7:

How did you know that Damolmogs lecture was the same as that
which was delivered by Atty. Bravo?

A7:

I took notes on the lecture of Atty. Bravo and compared it to the class
lecture of Mr. Damolmog and also the lectures were entitled the same.

Q8:

Which part of Atty. Bravos lecture was the same with that of Mr.
Damolmogs, if any?

A8: The entirety of the lecture sir.


A9:

What were the contents of their lectures?

A9:

Both of their lectures discussed about the Legal Education being the
best medium to understand the discipline and complexity of
developing a legal mind. That the biggest contribution of the legal
profession is that it helps us to think critically and helps us solve
problems. They also discussed that the best way to teach law is
through a grand and majestic manner and that you must so much
respect in the legal profession to fully understand it.

A10: What else can you remember on their lectures?

Q10: They also discussed the relationship of the discipline of law compared
to the discipline in business. That both discipline required the same
skills.
Q11: Was there a difference between the lecture of Atty. Bravo and that of
Mr. Damolmogs, if any?
Q11:

None exactly sir. The lecture of Mr. Damolmog was verbatim of one
delivered by Atty. Bravo.

Q12: Why are you executing this affidavit?


A12: I am executing this affidavit to affirm to the truth of the foregoing
statements and in support of the complaint filed by Atty. Edilberto Bravo for
Violation of Article 19 and 20 in Relation to Section 177 and 216 (b) and (e)
of Republic Act No. 8293

I, ROWTIR JOHN L. BANQUERIGO, of legal age, single, Filipino and a
resident of Sibulan, Negros Oriental, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with
law, state and declare that:

I am the counsel of the plaintiff in ______________, entitled Edilberto
Bravo vs. Jose Damolmog, pending before Branch 99, RTC, Dumaguete City, Negros
Oriental.

On 27 March 2015, I filed two (2) copies of the foregoing Judicial
