Aquarama 2013, was an unqualified success. Not only was the show as
spectacular as ever, but exhibitor numbers were also up on the previous
edition, as were trade visitor numbers.

There was, undoubtedly, a tangible good-feel atmosphere throughout

the exhibition something that the Organising Committee is working
full-out to guarantee at the next (2015) edition.

Exhibitors were particularly impressed by the quality of the visitors,

characterised by a very high percentage who came to do business,
rather than as lookers. For their part, visitors, 50% of whom consisted of
senior management and decision makers, were impressed by the sheer
quality and range of the exhibitors offerings. Certainly, both the 2013
exhibitors and visitors left the organisers in no doubt that Aquarama was
hugely important and effective for their business.

Andwith some European governments now beginning to say that the

worst of the crisis may soon be over, there is good reason to believe that
Aquarama 2015 will be, at least, every bit as successful and diverse as
its predecessors.

Co-located alongside, but totally independent from Aquarama, the

5th edition of Pet Asia will build on the sound foundations established in 2013 and will present a full programme of activities and
demonstrations, along with its own seminar programme and (of
course!) an all-encompassing array of pet products and services.

Public Aquaria

(NEW)

The ornamental aquatic industry supplies both the hobby and public
aquarium sectors. It is therefore logical that the latter should be
represented at Aquarama, just as the hobby has been represented
from the very outset. Plans are therefore already well under way to
bring the world of public aquaria to Aquarama 2015. Further details
will be published in due course.

Crystal Bee Shrimp Competition

(NEW)

As interest in these tiny jewels continues to rise throughout the

world, Aquarama 2015 will feature a brand new competition dedicated to the expanding range of species and varieties of colourful
freshwater mini-shrimps that are currently available. This will be a
micro competition of mega beauty proportions!

Marine Nano Tank Competition

This competition was launched in 2013 to great acclaim, attracting

a constant flow of admirers throughout the whole of Aquarama
2013. It will therefore be repeated in 2015 to run alongside its larger
counterpart, the Marine Tank Competition.

Marine Tank Competition

This spectacular competition has become a firmly-established and

hugely popular Aquarama component. Consisting of considerably
larger aquaria than those included in the Nano equivalent, this
competition provides an excellent shop-window for the marine
aquarium sector of the trade and hobby.

Incorporating both established favourites and latest trends, the

world-famous and highly respected Aquarama International Fish
Competition will be more extensive than ever in 2015, with at least
one new element being introduced (see below)but there could well
be others, soWatch this space!

Like its marine counterpart, the Freshwater Nano Tank Competition

launched in 2011 has attracted huge interest from both professionals and hobbyists alike. It will therefore feature prominently
again in 2015.

Freshwater Planted Tank Competition

Now an old favourite at Aquarama, this competition, consisting of

elegant and often-surprising aquascapes never fails to impress. As
a source of ideas for home aquaria, it is unbeatable.

right up close to the breeders and exporters of our industry in the
heart of the Ornamental Fish Capital of the World. Early reservation
