COLOR FORMULARY

According to Euromonitor data, available through Cosmetics & Toiletries magazines

sister publication Global Cosmetic Industry (GCI), in 2009* color cosmetics
accounted for $42.6 billion of the $350 billion cosmetics industry value. Eye color,
foundations and powders performed comparatively well. The trend for brightly
colored eye makeup meant consumers were open to experimenting, while strong
innovations in mascara, balancing formula with applicator, also struck a chord with
consumers. The facial makeup market grew in Western Europe, largely linked to the
concept that makeup is an extension of skin carewith foundations now promising
sun protection and anti-aging benefits, among others.
In relation, Cosmetics & Toiletries magazine offers the following Color Formulary,
featuring recent formulas entered by raw material suppliers into the online
