M uch is being said and being w ritten about w hite magic and black magic, about
the rig h t-h a n d p ath and about the left-hand path. W hatever your opinions on this
subject are, you will have to ad m it th a t the two overlap to quite an extent. O nly
at th e extrem es are th e lines draw n very clearly.
L e t us consider first the pure and totally in co rruptible w hite m agician. T his
person will obey the rule do n o t harm anybody. I f th a t is taken to its extrem e
th en he will never fight back, never retaliate, never seek revenge or justice. H e
will be at th e m ercy of everybody, always offer the other cheek, be m eek and
subm issive. I f everybody was like th a t then there w ould be no problem ; this world
w ould be a nice place to live in. U nfo rtu n ately reality is different, and if you wish
to live like th a t then you will never possess an y th in g because others will forever
take it away. It is often said that d u rin g the M iddle Ages the barons lived by one
single rule: W h a ts m ine is m ine and w hats yours is m ine too if I am strong
enough to take it. N ot m uch has changed since.
A t the other end we find the extrem e black m agician. T his is a person who has
only two interests in life: pow er and him self. W hatever he w ants he gets, using all
possible m eans. H e does n o t care about anybody else, he has no conscience, he
just fu rth ers his own interests. I f th a t m eans h arm ing others th en so be it. M aterial
possessions play a big role in his life. H e will not hesitate to place strong curses
on all those who thw art him . At tim es it is sufficient to disagree w ith such a person
to suffer this fate. I f you care to look aro u n d you th en you m ig h t th in k th a t m any
so-called businessm en are black sorcerers or behave as such. You are right! T hey
do n o t care ab o u t the m isery they inflict, about the dishonest deals they make,
about the w orthless junk they sell; all they care about is the m oney they g e t . You
find people who behave like th at socially: if they see a w om an they like th en they
will use all possible m eans to get her. O nce their desire has been satisfied they
drop her. If in th e process they have destroyed a m arriage, an engagem ent or any
other relatio n sh ip they do not care. T hey will sim ply p u t the blam e onto the other
person.
As a m agician it is up to you to decide how far you w ish to go in either direction.
T h e only th in g you should rem em ber is th a t you yourself are responsible for your
ow n actio n s an d th e ir consequences. D o n o t b lam e the w riters o f grim oires
(m agical textbooks) or of other books; you yourself are m aking the choice!
W h ils t we w ere w ritin g th is book we received m any c o m m en ts, m ostly
concerned w ith w hy we should n o t be w ritin g this. O u r reply was very sim ple: for
over fo rty years we have b een w h ite m ag ician s and b eh av ed lik e real
fundam en talists. W here did it lead us? Nowhere! M ost of those we did things for,
w hom we tau g h t, whom we helped, tu rn ed th eir backs on us. T hey had w hat they
w anted and w hy should they care, or even rem ain sociable? U n til recently we never

fought back and lived as harm less m eek people to w hom one could do anything.
As our p h ilo so p h y we stric tly followed th e ru le h arm no b o d y and could be
considered to be nearly fundam entalistic. However, th ere comes a tim e w hen one
reflects upon this. A periodical revision o f the K abbalah m ade us suddenly see the
light: we also have th e duty to look after ourselves. T h a t does n o t m ean th a t we
have becom e ruthless black sorcerers. B ut now we help people by re tu rn in g curses,
by seeking justice, and if th e latter could be considered as revenge then so be it.
We are very m uch at ease w ith our own conscience. W hy should we let other people
get away w ith m u rd er? Now we fight back!
Just consider the C hristian creed, the one w hich states clearly and unequivo
cally th at one m ust offer th e other cheek. T h e n look at w hat this church has been
doing, and is still doing today, to fu rth er its own am bitions. T hese am bitions have
very little to do w ith religion, they are m ore about pow er and m oney th an about
an y th in g else. H ow m any o f the so-called C h ristians live by th e ir creed? H a lf of
one percent? N o t even that. O ne of these pillars o f th e church p u t it to us very
clearly w hen he told us, It is said o f me th a t in business I am cunning, crafty,
unscrupulous, treacherous, foxy and u n trustw orthy. M y reply to th is is th a t God
gave me these capabilities to use. A fter all, business is business. I live my private
life in a different m anner. T h is very devout person lives in a house about w hich
ord inary people can only dream . H e m akes m ost of his m oney by driving other
people in to b an k ru p tcy and strip p in g th e assets. H e has acquired m oney and power.
You can draw your own conclusions from that.
We have no qualm s about giving you the m eans to defend yourself. Too m uch
black m agic is going on today and we feel th at it is about tim e th at people are given
the m eans to defend them selves. If in the process they go too far and they becom e
like th a t them selves then th at is not our fault. O ur conscience is clear.
T hose w ho w ish to com m ent on th e ritu als them selves should keep in m ind
th a t these rituals are those practised on the co n tin en t. T his explains w hy they
differ very m uch from the B ritish trad itio n .
O ne final word: T h is is not a book for the weak-hearted!
We have not described blood-sacrifices, th ere is no k illin g and th ere are neither
debaucheries n o r perversions. W hat will be found in th is book is sexual activity
and very h ard and ru th less inten tio n s. B ut th en , the title makes this very clear:

TOOLS
IN C E N S E B U R N E R
You will be usin g incense w hich is b u rn ed on charcoal, not sticks. T here are a
variety o f incense b u rn ers available on the m arket. Choose w hat you wish. M ost
o f these are in brass and can be found in In d ian shops or New-Age shops. Some
so-called eth n ic shops supply these too. T h ey are not difficult to find.
R E C E PT A C L E S
You will need a receptacle for w ater and one for salt. Som e use chalices for that,
o thers use o rd in ary glasses, w ith or w ith o u t a stem . It does n o t m atter w hat they
are or w hat they are m ade of. I f you wish to splash out th en feel free to do so. T here
is an u n d isp u te d advantage in using nice things: it looks better and it seems that
you will also be perfo rm in g better, b u t we leave that up to you. W hat you will also
need is a sm all bowl to collect ashes and a b it of water.
C A N D L E S T IC K S
You w ill be u sin g up to five candles. T h ere is no need to buy expensive brass
candlesticks. Even a bottle or a saucer will do. Again, th is is a m atte r of choice.
CORD
T h is has to be black. F irst of all you need a piece of cord w hich fits around your
loins and is fastened w ith a knot. You will also need three pieces w hich are about
five feet in length. We found th at ord in ary curtain cords suit th e purpose very
well. You will have to tie a k n o t at the ends to stop them from fraying. A lternatively
you can roll som e sticky tape around the ends. Do not attem pt to splice the ends:
silk will n o t hold.

K N IF E
You need one knife w ith a black handle. I f you do not find it then p a in t the handle
black yourself. T hose who have plenty of m oney can purchase a Scottish Skeean
D h u (black knife) w hich is w hat a Scotsm an will wear in his hose. T hey come in
all varieties and prices and are beautifully finished w ith silver and a gem stone.
T h e choice is yours.
M A G IC SY M BOLS
D u rin g som e ritu als you will need to draw som e m agical symbols. You should
always have a m odel in fro n t of you, so th a t you m ake no m istakes. T hese m agical
sym bols should be draw n in black, on w hite paper. Some purists insist th at they
are draw n on p arch m en t or vellum , b u t th at is n o t necessary; it is a relic from the
M iddle Ages. W h at these sym bols represent is explained later. F or the tim e being
just m ake sure th a t you have paper and ink available. As you w ill be using some
of these sym bols frequently we suggest th a t you choose a strong paper.
CONSUMABLES
C A N D LE S
T h e only candles w hich you will use are black. Some shops of household m aterials
sell these in boxes and they are cheap. I f you wish to buy expensive hand-m ade
ones then that is your choice.
CH A R C O A L
T his is used to b u rn incense. Buy the self-igniting tablets, they only take one m atch
to light. It is useful to have a pair of pliers handy to hold the tablets w hilst you are
lig h tin g them , otherw ise you often b u rn your fingers.
IN C EN SE S
T he incenses used in this type of magic are not com m ercially available. M ost can
easily be m ade from ord in ary plants an d household herbs. N ever forget th at in the
days o f old there were no im ports of exotic m aterials and people made do with
w hat they had available. In this form of magic things are still th e same, b u t it is
not difficult to find w hat you need and it is also easy to m ake your owrn incenses.
All you can buy com m ercially is frankincense and m yrrh. T here is a chapter on
incenses fu rth er on.
SALT
T h e com m ercially available salt as used in the kitch en or at the table is not suitable
It contains other chem icals, the so-called anti-caking ingredients, to stop it from
form ing lum ps in h u m id conditions. W hat you need is pure natu ral salt. Any
health shop sells this k in d of thing. If you have a choice then opt for sea-salt. Keep
it separate and do not use it for anything else.

W A TER
Experience has show n th at in m any cases ordin ary tap w ater does not work. You
should obtain som e p ure spring water. T h is is not difficult because you can find
this in any store and superm arket. Keep it separate and do not use it for anything
else.
PEN S A N D IN K
In this type of m agic you should never use any th in g b u t pens and proper ink.
T here is a B ritish trad itio n th at these inks should be m ade from plant m aterial.
C onsequently they are sold, at a price, by som e suppliers. T here is no need for
that. A ny in k will do and if you do not have any then use food colouring. You need
black, red, green and blue. You will never use anyth ing b u t w hite paper.
Before you use any o f the im plem ents and consum ables they m ust be consecrated
C onsecrated im plem ents are stored in a safe place, out o f reach, because they can
only be used by you yourself. D u rin g the consecration you have placed a curse on
anybody w ho touches your tools w ith o u t your perm ission, and this curse will work.
I f you w ork w ith som eone else then m ake it clear th at this person is allowed to
use your tools and say so explicitly. Keep everything together in one box or case.
It m akes it easier to find everything before you start a ritual.
MAGICAL SYMBOLS
D u rin g th e ritu als you will use magical symbols. At tim es they are b u rned, buried
or destroyed in som e other way. Som etim es they are sent away. You should be able
to draw these w hen you need them . In o rd er to do so p roperly and w ithout m aking
m istakes we suggest th a t you prepare a m odel for each. You can then take this
m odel w ith you in th e circle and w ork from that. You will be using three types of
figures. A b rief description is given w ith each.

You will use several seals d u rin g your rituals. E xplaining th e ir origin and m eaning
w ould lead us m uch too far. Some seals w ill protect you, other seals w ill attack
other people. Some seals, when used properly, can be le th a l! Those who are interested
in the origin of th e seals and who wish to find m ore inform ation are referred to
the vast literatu re on the subject.

THE ALPHOMEG
T h e A lphom eg are groups of letters or figures w hich form very pow erful squares.
T h e term (always used in the plural) seems to have been derived from the Greek
w ords A lpha and Omega, w hich are the first and the last letters of the Greek
alphabet. T h e origin of the term, just like the origin o f the A lphom eg themselves,
is steeped in m ystery an d has been lost in th e course o f m any centuries.

INCENSES
T he incenses used in this type of m agic do not sm ell p articularly nice. T hose who
w ish to im prove the smell can add 1 p art frankincense or m yrrh. D o N O T use any
other resinous incense. T h e in ten tio n o f the incense is to co n trib u te to the frame
of m ind of the person perform ing the ritual. R ecent scientific research has m ade
discoveries w hich substantiate this p o in t; incenses and o ther sm ells influence the
w orking of the brain. T h ere are only four incenses involved. All th e ingredients
are easily available. All you have to do is look for them , because the plants you
need can be found anyw here. T h e recipes are as follows:

DRESS
P u rists will say th a t in this type of m agic there is no choice of dress. You are naked.
All you wear is a black cord around your loins, tied w ith a reef-knot. If you are
perform ing th e ritu al outside then you can also wear a pair o f sandals, n o th in g
else. If w eather is inclem en t then you either suffer it or you await m ore favourable
circum stances. If you do not want to do this then wear a robe, preferably black.
T he m ost im p o rta n t reason for being undressed is to be able to feel un ited with
the elem ents. You stand or sit on the earth, you are surro u n d ed by the air, the
w arm th of the fire (sun, m oon or candle) can reach you and you can m ake direct
contact w ith w ater if you w ish to do so. T h ere are o ther reasons too. A m ongst the
many, one is w o rth m entioning: th e u n d erly in g process of revolt, grown during
m any c en tu ries o f su ppression, against th e edicts o f the tra d itio n a l W estern
churches who declared an y th in g w hich had any connection w ith the body or with
sex to be sinful and forbade it.
T h e cord w hich you wear around your loins symbolizes your link w ith the
universe. It also sym bolizes your own personal link w ith the forces w hich you will
call upon and w hich you will use. No real m agician will ever perform a ritual
w ithou t such a cord. Before you dress for a ritu al you m ust clean yourself. Have
a bath or have a shower. I f you perform w ith som eone else then you have a bath
together. If th at creates som e form of sexual arousal, so m uch the better, because
w hen you perform rituals w ith p artners they should always end w ith some form
o f sexual activity. T h a t again is p art and parcel of this k in d o f magic. T h is time,
however, the reasons should not be laid squarely at the door of the various churches.
T he origin of this custom goes back thousands of years, rig h t back to the old
fertility rites.
We m en tio n ed th at each ritual perform ed w ith a p artn er m u st end w ith some
form of sexual activity. T h is can take any form you like. At tim es it is necessary
to follow certain rules. T h ere are ritu als w here it is necessary to achieve an orgasm,
w hether you are alone or w ith a partner. In som e instances, and th is will be pointed
out clearly, it is necessary to achieve this outside p enetration. If that is the case
th e n you m u st in te rru p t at th e rig h t m o m en t. E x p erien ced m agicians have
practised a form o f sexual in tercourse w here they achieve full p enetration and keep
this up, w ith o u t m oving, for as long as possible. T h e am ount of energy thus raised
is enorm ous. T h e y will, if necessary, in te rru p t at the last m om ent. T he only thing
to rem em ber is th a t you are dealing w ith a form of magic w hich is not k in d and
gentle. Your sexual activity should reflect that. T his does not m ean that one m ust
inflict pain. U se your own im agination and if you fin d th at difficult th en start
by n o t using too nice a language. Finally, in this type of m agic there is no need
to restrict sexual activity to your own p erm an en t partner. A nybody w ho agrees
will do.

THE CIRCLE
It is of th e utm ost im portance that you learn to draw this circle properly. I f you
do n o t wish to do so th en you can p a in t it on a cloth or on any other suitable
m aterial. M any m agicians do this to save the tim e needed to construct the circle.

T h e letters a to e are the segm ents w here certain w ords (the w ords o f power)
have to be w ritten. T hey should be w ritten as if from th e centre o f the circle, so
th at they can be read easily by som eone stan d in g in th e m iddle, by the sim ple
expedient of tu rn in g around. Be precise in this, otherw ise your magic will only
partly w ork, not w ork at all or even tu rn against you. T hese are the words to be

You w ill have recognized the triangle above the circle as the Triangle o f Solomon.
T his is w here dem ons and other spectres w ill appear. T h e y m ust always rem ain
in this triangle. Some w ill use all possible m eans, in clu d in g tu rn in g into a very
attractive (usually naked) wom an, to try and entice you to them , and m ake you
leave your circle. I f you do so then you are lost. T h e circle and triangle at the
bottom are protective. T h e one at th e bottom is also used for people and objects
w hich are not allowed inside th e circle.

PREPARATIONS
I f you w ork w ith a p a rtn e r then you can m ake all the preparations together. Before
you sta rt you take both hands of your p artn er in yours and say:
THE RITUAL
T he only th in g you have to learn is to cast a pentagram . You w ill always cast the
same pentagram , the inverted one. Start at 1 and continue th ro u g h 2, 3, 4 and 5
back to 1. T h en , w ith o u t in te rru p tin g , cast th e circle from 1 to 6 in an a n ti
clockwise direction. You should practise th is because you will need to do this m any
tim es. T hese pentagram s are cast stan d in g up and w ith the rig h t hand.
You m ust also learn to do the same w ith the th u m b o f your rig h t hand. T his
m ethod is used for sm all objects w hich you hold in th e left hand or w hich are lying

E xtinguish the candle of the South, b u t only the one standing inside the
in ner circle. Use your fingers; N E V E R blow out a candle. Place it in the
centre.
Place in tu rn the incense burner, the salt and th e water in the centre. The
coal in th e incense b u rn er should be allowed to b u rn itself out.
E xtinguish th e candles from th e South, East, N o rth and W est in th a t order.
Break your circle by rubbing it out or by stepping out of it.
