I showed the positive benefits of a proactive approach towards enhanced safety awareness, by providing technical and
administrative advice on regulations and best practice; through education and training of personnel at all levels and
departments, throughout the Group.
I ensured that Emirates Group operations are compliant with relevant Federal and local Health, Safety and Environment
legislation by developing and conducting workplace inspections, risk assessments, control of substances hazardous to health
(COSHH) assessments, including dangerous goods storage and disposal and industrial hygiene surveys, providing reports and
following up to ensure that recommended changes are implemented.
I coached Company managers and supervisors, providing technical and practical expertise, to establish and maintain
standards of personnel safety applicable to all Group employees, so that the risk and frequency of lost-time work related
injuries is reduced.
I implemented and managed a workplace Hazard Identification and Risk Management (HARM) system, advising and guiding
line departments to reduce risk and manage operations safely and in compliance with workplace OH&S and environmental
safety issues.
I Managed and maintained the reporting and investigation procedures for workplace incidents and accidents resulting in loss
or damage, or potential loss and damage, to the Group or to third party assets (personnel, equipment, aircraft, facilities and
systems) to identify the causal factors and determine necessary remedial action so that re-occurrence is prevented.
I reviewed key departmental safety performance indicators related to OH&S with respective line managers and monitor
agreed remedial actions to improve safety awareness and ensure compliance with Departmental Standard Operating
Procedures and Safety Standards.

 I Provided advice and support, on OH&S and environmental safety to the Group Safety Program Manager and Group Training
on the subject of employee knowledge and syllabus requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance and improvement in safety
