vert your voltmeter reading to the correct psi value. Remember, this transducer has a range of zero to around
200psi.
When I checked mine, it followed
the expected pressure and voltage values. I also raised the pressure to 300psi
to see if the transducer would fail. It
didnt. The transducer still followed the
expected values. So, now we know you
can get a reliable electronic pressure
gauge from a few old parts and your
voltmeter. If you want to, you could
make several pressure sensors.
Remember, that this sensor is accurate
between 40-200psi. If you want an
accurate gauge with a 0-100psi range,
use the 42/46RE governor transducer.
