Engineering and Information Technology
(IIAEIT) was founded on 09 August 2001 at
Pune as training institute with a difference
for the professional education with prime
focus on aeronautical engineering, other
disciplines and management. Over the last
nine years IlAEIT has blossomed from a
small nucleus and added six more
institutions covering wide spectrum in
various sectors of aviation as well as
management- Mr. Anshul B Sharma -a
qualified engineer and first generation
entrepreneur heads the Group. Apart from
training in engineering courses of
professional bodies, other courses like
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Air
Hostess and Hospitality & various
management courses are being offered..
BTech Aerospace Engineering from Indira
Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)
has commenced from 2009 in full time,

IIAEIT
Undertakes to train / prepare students for Associate Membership Examinations of Aeronautical
Society of India (AMAeSI) and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (India) (AMIME)
ABOUT IIAEIT
Pune is city of great learning with a large number of educational institutions making it truly the
Oxford of the East. With its salubrious climate, excellent ambience for learning, and good
connectivity Pune is much sought after destination for higher education. Indian Institute for
Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology (IIAEIT) was founded by Mr. Anshul
Sharma at Pune in August 2001. The Institute has developed into a leading training Institute with
excellent infrastructure in the last nine years.
The Institute imparts training to the students appearing for Associate Membership Examinations
conducted by AeSI and IME (I).
VISION
India to join and lead the august company of the developed nations in
the field of aviation technology and allied engineering disciplines
through contribution towards development of high quality human
resource.
MISSION
To transform the youth into high caliber professional engineers to meet
the challenges of the highly competitive world through intensive
training, appropriate guidance, discipline with human values and
holistic approach and to utilize the knowledge of Engineering &
Technology for the welfare of the society.
QUALITY POLICY
Sustainable highest quality of education through proven pedagogy,
contemporary learning environment, qualified and dedicated faculty,
and state-of-art infrastructure.
VALUE ADDITION
Endeavor at IIAEIT has been to provide comprehensive training which would enable the aspirants not only to acquire recognized
professional qualifications but also enhance their employability. For this purpose additional training capsules consisting of on the job/
industrial training, exposure to basic self-management techniques, soft skills, presentation skills & group discussion etc are given as addons.
Objectives
To enable the students to become professional engineers by quality training. This is achieved by realizing the rich intrinsic worth of the
Associate Membership courses of the The Aeronautical Society of India and The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (India).
Since Aeronautical engineering is offered as regular course in very few Universities, AMAeSI is the best alternative option for those who
want to pursue career in this discipline. Mechanical engineering is always there to stay and play important role.
Collaborating with industry by participating in joint projects/training providing a unique alliance of Industry and Academics to enhance
learning opportunities to the students. Striving towards continuous improvement by Quality Management System to achieve goals of
excelling in professional education by providing training and expertise in the chosen disciplines of engineering. Instilling & nurturing
academic proficiency in engineering by promoting scientific temperament. Imbibing sound values that would make our students
worthy human beings, responsible citizens & empower them to lead a meaningful life.

PRACTICAL TRAINING
For better exposure of Aeronautical Engineering students to new
technologies and practical aspects of the aviation field, the Aeronautical
Society of India itself arranges practical training at organizations like
Indian , Air India, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. etc. at centers like Delhi,
Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderbad, Chennai, Ozhar and Bangalore for a period of
four to six months on 'No Cost No Payment' basis. Incase the companies
decide to charge for the training, the student has to bear the cost. This year
our Institute has arranged training of our students who have passed
Section B at Gas Turbine Research Establishment, Bangalore, Safran
Aerospace India and National Aerospace Limited.
JOB PROSPECTS
The Placement Cell of the Institute is very dynamic and in touch with various organizations and will forward the bio-data of the students
(of final semester) in order to assist them in placements. The resume of the students are uploaded in job portals for enhancing the
placement opportunities. The campus interviews are held regularly.
Job opportunities for AMAeSI students are with organizations like:
1.
2.
Air India
3.
4.
Indian
5.
6.
Go Air, SpiceJet
7.
8.
Safran Aerospace and all Aircraft related Manufacturing industries like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited,
9.
In case of Aeronautical Engg., the job prospects seems to be much brighter because very few Engg. Colleges are awarding B.E.
(Aeronautical) and also many private Airlines have started their operations and many Maintenance, Repairing, Overhauling facilities are
coming up.

Library
Institute library is well-stocked with more than 25,000 books including Text Books,
Reference Books, Notes, Solved/Unsolved Question Papers, Technical News /
Bulletins, Magazines, Journals etc. Books on self improvement like, Personality
Development, General Knowledge, Competitive Examination etc. are also available
in the library. Keeping in pace with the changing learning environment, educational
CDs are also available. Each student is provided with a library card for issue of books
for duration of five days per issue. For the benefit of students and staff, the institute
has obtained membership with the library of the Defense Institute of Advance
Technology (formerly known as lAT) and The British Library, Pune.
Computer Lab
We have designed our Computer Lab for Advanced Computing and it is fully
equipped with 60 latest configuration PCs, Printers, Scanners and Multimedia devices
while high-speed devices are providing gainful Networking. Turbo C/C+ + ; both
Windows and DOS versions, Visual Studio 6.0 for 'C Programming and Visual Basic
while Auto-CAD R-2000 , Oracle, CATIA, Pro E for Engineering are installed. MS Office
2007 set up is installed for 'Computer Fundamental' course. New additions are
expected as the new courses are being taken up.
Electronics Lab
Electronics lab is well equipped with latest models of CROs, Function Generators Dual
Power Supply Units, Digital Trainer Kits, Measuring Instruments, Digital Millimeters,
Voltmeters and Ammeters. At a time, a batch of 30 students can perform the
laboratory practical.
Aero-lab
Ours is the only Institute having Fokker Friendship Aircraft, 'Pushpak' and ISKARA
aircrafts for practical demonstration of aircraft system and components. Fokker
Friendship civil aircraft is meant to assist practical experiments by the students. BELL
Helicopter is another facility for the aeronautical engineering students. Apart from
this, the lab has components / systems of military and commercial aircrafts. These give
the students the feel of practical aspects of theory they learn in classroom. We have
working mockups with actual aircraft control surfaces to show operation of ailerons,
elevators, rudders etc. The Institute has two Gas Turbine engines, Wind Tunnel, Airconditioning unit, Auxiliary Power and industrial components, Communication
Avionics and Navigation Laboratories.
Aero Modeling laboratory is the centre of attraction, we have also set up
Aero modeling club
