It can be used in other directory configurations by including the explore2fsPE.i
ni file in the same directory as explore2fsPE.exe and configuring it as details
in the INI file section below. The INI file may also be placed in a subdirector
y of the directory containing explore2fsPE.exe called explore2fsPE or 2 director
ies deep in PortableApps\explore2fsPE or Data\explore2fsPE. All paths in the IN
I should remain relative to the EXE and not the INI.
explore2fsPE.INI CONFIGURATION
=========================
explore2fsPE will look for an ini file called explore2fsPE.ini. If you are happ
y with the default options, it is not necessary, though. The INI file is format
ted as follows:
[explore2fsPE]
explore2fsDirectory=explore2fs
SettingsDirectory=settings
AdditionalParameters=
explore2fsExecutable=explore2fs.exe
DisableSplashScreen=false
The explore2fsDirectory and SettingsDirectory entries should be set to the *rela
tive* path to the appropriate directories from the current directory. All must
be a subdirectory (or multiple subdirectories) of the directory containing explo
re2fsPE.exe. The default entries for these are described in the installation se
ction above.
The AdditionalParameters entry allows you to pass additional commandline paramet
er entries to explore2fs.exe. Whatever you enter here will be appended to the c
all to explore2fs.exe.
The explore2fsExecutable entry allows you to set explore2fsPE to use an alternat
e EXE call to launch explore2fs. This is helpful if you are using a machine tha
t is set to deny explore2fs.exe from running. You'll need to rename the explore
2fs.exe file and then enter the name you gave it on the explore2fsExecutable= li
ne of the INI.
The DisableSplashScreen entry allows you to run explore2fsPE without the splash
screen showing up. The default is false.
