Baahubali is tentatively titled for Prabhas, SS Rajamouli's movie and its a epic

story based movie in which, Rana Daggubati is playing the role of prabhas' brot
her in negative lead. Anushka Shetty will be playing the female lead role in thi
s movie.
After blockbuster movie Chatrapathi director SS Rajamouli once again working wit
h Prabhas. Shobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are producing this movie under
ARKA Media Works banner. M. M. Keeravani is scoring music for this movie. Eega f
ame Sudeep doing an yet another important role in this movie.
The second part, Baahubali: The Conclusion will be released in 2016.
Story
A Man who can kill a hundred men can be a hero....but...a man who can save at lea
st one life is God . Bahubali is based on the essence of the above lines.
Shivudu (Prabhas) is the actual successor of the kingdom known as Mahishmati. Bu
t unfortunately, he becomes a victim of various internal conspiracies. But fortu
nately, Sivagami (Ramya Krishna) saves him from the cruel hands. Later, he is ra
ised by a tribe on the hills.
After growing up into a handsome young man, Shivudu gets attracted to Avantika (
Tamanna). Well, who is this Avantika? She is a rebel of a kingdom ruled by Bhall
aldeva (Rana). She is in fact shown as a guerrilla-rebel group that fights again
st the atrocities of the kingdom ruled by Bhallaldeva.
The main target of Avantika is to save Devasena (Anushka) from the hands of Bhal
laldeva. Shivudu who falls in love with Avantika takes the responsibility of sav
ing Devasena. He travels to the kingdom where Devasena is being slaved and tortu
red.
To his surprise, the moment people notice him in that kingdom, they call him 'Ba
hubali'. He goes clueless about why people are treating him like god and Shivudu
rescues Devasene and After meeting Kattappa (Sathyaraj), Shivudu comes to know
about Bahubali and why there is enmity between him and Bhallaldeva. The rest mus
t be watched on the screen.
Bahubali has been taking the Indian theatres and all of Indian Movie Industry by
a storm for the past 2 months,and more so,in the last 2 days post its initial r

be experienced at the theatres at first hand.

The Story starts out,depicting the royal kingdom of Mahismathi,over which Prabha
s(as Amarendra Bahubali) holds sway and reigns supreme with his beloved Queen-Co
nsort Devasena(played by Anushka Shetty),until Bhallala Deva(Rana) develops othe
r self-centred ideas and leads Bahubali up the garden path,stands over his carca

ss and unfairly takes control over the kingdom.Devasena fearing the impending ni
ghtmare,flees the kingdom along with Bahubali s son Shivudu.
Although she succeeds keeping Shivudu to the shadows,out of Bhallala Deva s evil s
ight,she falls prey to Bhallala Deva and gets held prisoner.Shivudu(Prabhas,as a
son) now being fostered beyond the Mahismathi kingdom grows up as a free-spirit
ed,rebellious brat.In his attempts to explore new worlds and possibly his father s
own kingdom,which he has no knowledge of,runs into milky beauty Tamannah(as Ava
ntika) during one of his random pursuits.Shivudu,then follows his new love-inter
est Avantika,right up to his obscure homeland Mahismathi,where people soon begin
to find striking similarities between him and the forgotten,brutalised legend B
ahubali.All of this renders Shivudu questioning his own existence and rides him
topsy-turvy,thus inciting him to get to the bottom of this pandemonium and have

FINAL WORD: What does the audience have to take away from Bahubali:The Beginning
? That is a simple question with no easy answers.It could appeal to people who
have their fancies tickled by love stories with a delicate touch of sentiment an
d an emotional vibe to it.But,on the other hand,for a movie which was flacked as
an answer to Hollywood Film 300 ,Bahubali proves to be rather particular about eli
citing tender emotions out of the audience,which shouldn t come to us as a surpris
e,as SS Rajamouli,while delivers some ridiculously detailed action sequences cho
reographed by Peter Heins and blow-by-blow visuals,typically never compromises o
n the emotional content.This time around,SS Rajamouli s ups the stakes with his st
ock-in-trade action-specialism combined with VFX technology.
But,if few sections of the audience are looking forward to quench their thirst a
nd scratch their Bahubali-Induced itch,be prepared to not experience an Action-O
nly movie,there will be times (First Half of the movie),when Bahubali comes acro
ss as sluggish,but it soon shifts gears to some gory war scenes full of battlecr
ies that are sure to charge you up and have you on the edge of your seat,just be
careful not to fall off of it.Such Scenes are particularly concentrated around
the last 40 minutes or so of the film.But,if Bahubali can really be compared to
the Hollywood Film 300 ,now is not the time.We probably have to wait for that chanc
e until the second instalment of Bahubali comes out next year.The Climax of Bahu
bali planted a clever twist which inturn has laid the foundation for what will b
e a barbaric,ghastly storyline in the second part.
MISCELLANEOUS RATING: The Movie Ratings from several of prestigious newspapers a
nd critics across India such as AP Herald,Hans India,Taran Adarsh,amounted to ab
out 3.8/5 Stars.
LOOP 21 s RATING: Just when you feel the movie Bahubali is getting slow-paced,it d
elivers some gripping,blood-spewing action.Watching Prabhas manoeuvre the sword,
and in this process,flex his biceps and triceps is a treat to the eyes.Bhallalad
eva and Shivudu share a bitter past.When Bhallaladeva and Prabhas(as Shivudu) re
alise that this means war and chant their Battlecry,you won t be able to help it a
nd surely roar along with them.While the film has a lot of action and visuals cr
ammed in every cranny,SS Rajamouli rubs a little too much sentiment on us.But,al
l-in-all,Bahubali has some serious action visuals to offer,something that an ave
rage Indian film could never put forth. We are going with 3.5/5 stars for Bahuba
li The Beginning.
We hope the second part of Bahubali provokes us to unhesitantly rate it a compre
hensive 5/5 stars.
