humidity in a production environment lead to drastic moisture loss from products under
production process which dries up the product leading to excessive wastage, low
productivity , inferior quality and staff discomfort.
Requirements of modern high speed production techniques/ up gradation of
manufacturing equipment lead to increase in internal plant heat loads , often resulting in
the need of better control of humidity levels in the plant environment, as the existing
plant humidification systems are often incapable to meet these increased demands.
Adding more capacity to the inherently inefficient humidification plants can be very

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

The production department is responsible for converting inputs into outputs through the
stages of production processes. The Production Manager is responsible for making sure
that raw materials are provided and made into finished goods effectively. He or she must
make sure that work is carried out smoothly, and must supervise procedures for making

Fully Automatic and Manual Humidification Plant for Textile Units :


Aero Based Control Systems Private Limited are a major system integrator for fully
automatic humidification system in India. Following are the system configuration in a
fully automatic system installed by them.

The right blend of Fresh air, Bye pass air and Return air is achieved by
automatic regulation of multiple shutters to achieve the accurate resultant

conditions in the given department.


The air washers spray and saturation of air is monitored and controlled by
VFD installed in the spray pump. The command from the DDC controller
automatically regulates the spray to achieve the desired relative humidity. This

saves power on regular operation.


Automatic collection and disposal of waste from the return air system. This
keeps the return air channel clean for uniform evacuation of air and reduces
clogging of air washer. This reduces man power.

data logging for retrieval at a later date.

Chillers:
A chiller is a machine that removes heat from a liquid via a vapor-compression or
absorption refrigeration cycle. This liquid can then be circulated through a heat exchanger
to cool air or equipment as required. As a necessary byproduct, refrigeration creates
waste heat that must be exhausted to ambient or, for greater efficiency, recovered for

THE S.W.O.T. MATRIX


A firm should not necessarily pursue the more lucrative opportunities. Rather, it may
have a better chance at developing a competitive advantage by identifying a fit between
the firm's strengths and upcoming opportunities. In some cases, the firm can overcome a
weakness in order to prepare itself to pursue a compelling opportunity.
To develop strategies that take into account the SWOT profile, a matrix of these factors
can be constructed. The SWOT matrix (also known as a TOWS Matrix) is shown below:

plants.
