- Our Sleeker, Faster, Lighter Weight, More Rigid Kayaks
Our NEW Sea Eagle 385ft FastTrack and the EVEN NEWER 465ft FastTrack were born to explore large lakes
with secluded islands, long meandering rivers, intimate salt marshes with winding water passages, inland
bays, hidden ocean coves. The secret of this new patent pending design is the outside drop stitch keel in
the bow and the large skeg in the stern. These features combine to limit the yaw (the sideways
movement when using a double end paddle) of this kayak and create unparalleled bite on the water.
When the paddler takes a paddle stroke on the left or right side, the drop stitch keel in bow acts as a
block against the natural yaw of the kayak while the skeg keeps the kayak tracking forward. This bite
propels the kayaker forward more efficiently because the natural yaw of the kayak is contained - resulting
in greater speed and a straighter course - in other words, the fastest way is the straightest line.
A very important feature is the high pressure drop stitch floor. It provides rock solid rigidity to the whole
structure of the kayak making it very responsive to paddle strokes. The drop stitch floor even makes this
kayak rigid enough to be used as a Standup Paddle Board. The Sea Eagle 385ft & 465ft FastTrack Kayaks
can be paddled in luxurious comfort for many miles and many hours with little effort. It will go straight in
whatever direction you want and it will hold a course no matter at what angle you are paddling in
relation to the wind. This new design is truly a breakthrough in the evolution of inflatable kayaks.

Sea Eagle 340x Explorer Kayak Tough As Nails for One or Two - Ask Alaska Pete!
Sea Eagle 340x Explorer is the perfect choice for solo whitewater with or without gear. This model was
used by Pete Smidt (shown below) for a fly-in trip down an Alaskan River that was supposed to be class 3
and 4 white water. When Pete arrived, he found that the river, swollen by several weeks of rains was
actually class 4 and 5. Unfortunately, Pete learned this after the fly-in plane had departed. This left Pete
with no option but to complete his river trip. Pete tells us that he owes his life to our Sea Eagle 340x
which held up to all the abuse the river was able to dish out and the temporarily frightening experience
of an obstinate Grizzly bear that insisted on sitting in his 340x for over an hour. We are happy to say that
Pete lived to tell the tale.

motorboat, as a fishing boat, as a row boat or as a paddling boat. This kayak paddles and rows faster and
tracks straighter because it is actually a catamaran with a kayak bow. It literally glides along on its pontoons
- this is because the center floor is 4 above the water - so drag from the floor is completely eliminated.
The two deep molded skegs under the inflatable pontoons make this paddling or rowing kayak track

Drop stitch floor boats without keels tend to slide when turning and simply do not plane properly at high speeds - they
plow with their bow up instead of getting on a plane at twice the speed. Drop stitch boats with internal keels do plane
better, but are far tippier than standard floorboard boats and their drop stitch floors tend to bend where the keel is. We
have solved all of these problems with a unique new design which utilizes an outside drop stitch keel. This provides
tremendous stability, razor sharp turning abilities and the same high speed planing performance of floorboard boats.
The big advantage of this new kind of boat with a drop stitch keel is that this boat has gone on an extreme diet.
Instead of weighing 136 lbs. like the 10.6 SRRIK with our plastic floorboards, this new 10.6 SRRIK weighs a mere 93
lbs. Thats right, it is a full 43 lbs. lighter. This model also packs down to a much smaller size because our rigid plastic
floorboards dont pack down as small as the drop stitch inflatable floor. And because the drop stich inflatable keel is on
the outside of the boat it does not bend the drop stitch floor. Not only is this lighter and more compact, it is also
easier to assemble because all you do is inflate it (i.e. the inflatable floor rolls up with the boat).
But thats not all, this model can take our great plastic floorboards also! You should realize that there are advantages
to both plastic floorboard boats and drop stitch RIK boats. The plastic floorboards provide more
rigidity for standing and fishing, but the rigid inflatable drop stitch floor when combined
with a rigid inflatable keel provides good stability in a much smaller,
lighter package...so NOW you have a choice!

The Sea Eagle 12.6 SRRIK is a true inflatable speedboat capable of taking a larger engine and motoring far out to sea.
Its larger size and higher outboard capacity make it a good choice for the skin-diver, the serious fishermen and the
larger boat owners. This model and its larger sister, the Sea Eagle 14 SRRIK, have a more pointed bow which becomes
an important feature if you plan to take this boat offshore in rougher water - the more pointed V shape goes better
through big waves.
As you get to larger Sea Eagle transom boat models, you gain advantages of space and capacity, but you lose some
advantages of ease of assembly and portability. This means quite simply that when considering a transom boat you
should carefully judge what size is best for you. Because it is larger, we think the SE 12.6 SRRIK is more suited to
either be kept on the water or used where you will not have to inflate and assemble it daily.

This model is a great candidate for our Sea Eagle steering system and swivel seat assembly. These accessories greatly
increase the motoring comfort of a Sea Eagle transom boat, but they have the drawback of greatly complicating the
portability of a Sea Eagle transom boat. This is because the steering system is attached directly to the outboard motor
and requires a professional mechanic to install. You can remove the motor and steering system from a transom boat
relatively easily, but you are still left with the engine and the steering system attached to each other.

use a swivel bench seat kit with a tiller handle. This leaves the motor free and easy to take off and still lets you pack

Stand Up Paddle Boards give you a fantastic work-out and a great view of the water. Almost every part of

body acts like a sail when paddling with the wind and an obstacle when paddling against the wind. One of
the delights of our standup paddleboard is that you can paddle with the wind with a seat and a double
end paddle safely secured by the elastic cords. Then, after paddling standing up for 2 or 3 miles, you can

mounted on our canopies used for motor mount,

on a Sea Eagle SailCat as shown allowing you
to motor from a secluded waterway to a large bay
