PROFESSIONAL VISIT PASS

General Guidelines for submission through BLESS

Application through BLESS only for NEW Application. Renewal and amendments to the
current licence are currently not available.

Applicant is required to attach the necessary documents as listed below in the specific
guidelines and to be submitted together with the completed application form for
submission through the BLESS system.

Applicant can upload into the BLESS system all the necessary supporting documents
in Word, Excel and PowerPoint format using the upload facility provided in the BLESS
system.

Applicant can scan original documents and the scanned image can be uploaded into
the system in jpeg format or other relevant formats.

In the event that the applicant is unable to upload certain document (drawings), please
submit manually to the relevant processing centre. For any manual submission, the
applicant must quote BLESS submission number in each and every document.

If any fees are required by the agency, the applicant can utilise the E-Payment function
in BLESS provided the agency has activated this function. If any payment is to be
made, a payment request from the agency shall be prompted to the applicant.
Otherwise, the agency can request payment to be made manually.

All information from Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) related to the company are
made available in BLESS, thus applicant is no longer required to furnish these
information and documents.

Specific Checklist and Guidelines.

Applicant must complete the IM. 12 online form and upload the following:
1. Personal / Security Bond with RM 10.00 revenue stamp made void for each person.
2. Passport sized photograph of the applicant (in jpeg format).
3. Passport / travel document (to upload the front page(s) of the passport that contains personal
data of the applicant and details of the passport).
And any of the relevant supporting documents:
o

Letter from Malaysian Company / Institution (Sponsor) in Bahasa Melayu.

Offer letter.

Acceptance letter.

Confirmation letter from foreign employer / institution.

Letter from foreign university (Practical Training).

Training Programme / Schedule for the period of application.

Invoice of machinery purchase (if required).

Location plan, place confirmation letter / contract (for display).

Letter from Economic Planning Unit (Independent Researcher).

Support letter from National Sports Council (NSC) / Ministry of Youth And Sports for
Coach

Letter from Malaysian Racing Association / Persatuan Joki-Joki Malaysia / Selangor /


Perak / Pulau Pinang.

Support letter from Social Welfare Department of Malaysia (Volunteer).

Once approved, the sponsor needs to bring the following documents to the relevant Immigration office
for Visit Pass (Professional) sticker:
4. Original passport / travel document
5. One signed copy of the submitted online form of IM 12. (to be printed out from BLESS)
6. Personal / Security Bond with RM 10.00 revenue stamp made void for each person.
7. One passport sized photograph of the applicant (the same photograph which was uploaded
into BLESS)
8. Original copy of the supporting document(s) which was used for the application (if needed).

If the applicant has entered Malaysia using Visit Pass (Social), the applicant must complete form IM.
38 and pay the necessary processing fee of RM500.00 for the conversion of the pass status and the
visa fee according to the fixed rate base on country. The process of producing Visit Pass
(Professional) sticker is on the same day.
