Note:
In order to avoid disputes later on, to begin with once a new Regional Entity is created, they would be
allowed to operate first with any Long Term / Medium Term contracts and Bilateral Contracts. After the
first set of accounts have been issued by the RPC and all payments settled by the concerned RLDC,
permission / NOC may issued for trading through the Power Exchange(s). Such NOCs issued must
essentially contain
1. The total quantum of trade that can be done through the Power Exchange(s)
2. The period of validity of the NOC.
3. NOC must state that in case the new Regional Entity trades in more than one Power Exchange, then
the total quantum of trade would not exceed the quantum specified/permitted by the RLDC in the
NOC.
