COMPANY OVERVIEW

PT Sarku Enjinering Utama was established in 1996 as a Major Maintenance,

Hook-Up, Commissioning and Construction (MMHUCC) contractor for oil and gas
offshore installations in Indonesia. We are an ISO 9001 Quality Management
System accredited company with our core business being offshore construction,
maintenance, hook-up and commissioning of greenfield as well as brownfield
platforms.
We aslo have Onsite Service Division to support our project such as Pressurized
Welding Enclosure (welding habitat), Bolted Flange Joint Integrity (flange
management), Hot/Online Bolting, Onsite machining, and Drilling Support for
Wellhead installation.
Our clients range from multinational Oil & Gas companies acting as operators in
Indonesia, such as ConocoPhillips, Maxus (now CNOOC), Unocal / Chevron, Gulf,
as well as major EPC contractor companies, such as Hyundai Heavy Industries,

Technip.
We are closely affiliated with Sarku Engineering Services Sdn. Bhd., a Malaysian
based offshore construction company serving clients in Malaysia and SEA region.
The affiliate complements our services with accommodation work boats and
barges (with capacity up to 270 personnel), diving support vessels and survey
vessels.

Our workshop is located in Bumi Serpong Damai district, Tangerang municipality.
The building is a completely enclosed structure housing all plants, equipments and
tools needed to carry out the fabrication and testing processes.

PETROHAB PRESSURIZED WELDING ENCLOSURE SERVICE

PETROHAB is a Pressurized Welding Enclosure that is exclusively operated by
PT Sarku Enjinering Utama to manage and control risk associated with performing
hot work in potentially hazardous area. This unique safety system serves to
isolate ignition source that are generated from hot work operation taking place
inside from any potentially flammable gases that may exist outside the PWE in
order to protect both personnel and assets.
Hot work, which is any work
activity with potential to produce
ignition source or excess heat
such as welding, cutting,
grinding, preheating, and
soldering has consistently ranked
among the top five eading causes
of industrial fires.

Using this PETROHAB PRESSURIZED WELDING ENCLOSURE, Hot Work

allowed in hazardous area without plant shutdown because this is
safe for operated completed with automatic shutdown system if
flammable and toxic gas detected and strong enough to hold heat untill
8150 C

BOLTED FLANGE JOINT INTEGRITY PROGRAM

Our Bolted Flange Joint Integrity Program is designed to offer a package of
solution that provide facility owner with the best possible chance of achieving a
leak free start up and easy for maintenance.
Assembling bolted flange joint is
not just fitting a gasket and
tightening the bolts. Correct
assembly of a joint require the
entire flange joint assembly is
analysed and correct bolt load to
seal the joint is established. This is
supported by good planning,
approved procedure, maintained
equipment and well trained
personnel.
Incorrect bolt load, wrong gasket selection and poor training and assembly
practices are prime contributor to leaking bolted flange joint. By taking this
program, potential cause for failure can be eliminated

Flange Management, as a part of Bolted Flange Joint Integrity Program have key
feature as follow :
1. Verification, whether all material (bolt, nut, gasket,etc) match with
standardization, approved drawing, approved specification ?
2. Inspection, whether all material pass the quality control ? Condition of bolt
and nut, gasket, flange face ?
3. Assembling, how to assure that bolted flange joint installed and aligned as
approved standard ?
4. Tightening, it is important determine bolt torque from bolt material, bolt
size, bolt type type of bolted joint, gasket type, lubricant, and proper tool

HOT / ONLINE BOLTING SERVICES

Hot Bolting allows for corroded stud and nut to be removed as part of preventive
maintenance while the line is in services. Sometimes, hot bolting conducted as
pre-TAR to reduce downtime when planned shutdown.
Our hot bolting service is used to
free and re-tighten bolts on live
piping and equipment. This
specialty service is primarily
employed for replacing corroded
or damaged bolts and to minimize
time spend removing bolts during
plant shutdowns. Because hot
bolting is potentially hazardous,
our team well trained and
experienced technicians exercise
the utmost caution when planning
and carrying out any hot bolting
procedure

ONSITE MACHINING SERVICE

SARKU provide range of Onsite machining Service capabilities include Flange
Facing service and Cold Pipe Cutting service, all pneumatic air driven.
SARKU portable Onsite Machining are designed to make on-site, close tolerance
machining cost effective, and the most important is cold work type and safe for
flammable area.

DRILLING SUPPORT SERVICE

SARKU Drilling Support service can be provided as either a single service or as a
package along with provide Pressurized Welding Enclosure for hot work Isolation,
Casing Cutting service, Preheating and PWHT service, Wellhead Casing Welding
service, NDE service, and Bolt Torquing / Bolt Tensioning service for Wellhead
installation.
We offer this service to support drilling
activity, offshore or onshore.

SARKU split frame Casing Cutting system is perfectly

suited for wellhead application. This machine is easy to
install, effectively cut and bevel in one way, clean,
sparkles, and fast to cut pipe, casing, conductor, pile,
and other round structural in various size.
This machine is ideal for wellhead design that require weld preparation chamfer
for final wellhead installation.
SARKU provide experienced personnel and equipment
for the implementation of Bolt Torquing / Bolt
Tensioning, utilized during any application that require
effective and controlled break out or make bolt up at
wellhead flange connection.
